GREED Greed can make you do evil things Greed can make you kill. Greed can make you steal. Greed can make you to sell your body. Greed can kill you. Greed can make you see your soul to the devil. Greed can turn you to a ritualist. Greed can turn you to a liar. Greed can make you commit suicide. Greed can make you selfish. Greed can make you chase shadow. Greed can turn you to a beast. Greed! Greed! Greed! Greed! Greed can lead to Destruction. Greed starts out in one, moving to entice others. Greed passes on it's trait; pretending it's your brother. When greed is confronted, it has nothing to say. Greed can blind you from the truth; revealing only a lie. Why not look GREED within it's face, to let it know you're taking a STAND! The bible says greed is a form of idolatry,when you are greedy you are worshipping mammon, the god of money. |

People will just stay and be describing the bible in their own way. Prosperity teaching is important ooh just don't over do it. If you think its not important, if the members are poor who will sponsor the missionaries in the mission field  Who will bring money for church building/projects and programs You think the church sponsors programs (especially national/international ones) from their purse? Ask your pastor he will show you the member(s) that bring majority (if not all) of the money for all the church projects FYI: The experience is sponsored by 1 member. All the seats in the Dunamis Complex Abuja were bought by 1 member. A hearsay story of a man who closed down all the brothels in a city by buying all of them off and giving them to the churches in that city to use as a venue. Thats called financial evangelism. As a former exco of a Campus Fellowship I can tell you that soo many programs wouldn't have been possible without some members. The easiest way to a man's heart is food, feed him and he'll listen to you preach the gospel for as long as you want. |

Jezking:You don't just quote one verse of the Bible and depend on that verse, the reason God gave you brain is so you use it positively..... Have you ever come across Luke 12:15 ? And He said to them, Guard yourselves and keep free from all covetousness (the immoderate desire for wealth, the greedy longing to have more); [b]for a man’s life does not consist in and is not derived from possessing [/b]overflowing abundance or that which is over and above his needs. Your prosperity preaching is anti-christianity that encourages Greed, covetousness, selfishness, excess love for money......and that is the reason there's high rate of crime in the society today........you put pressure on an average members that barely feed well....... Christianity is Love, contentment, patience, kindness etc which your Pastorprenours will never preach about...... Prosperity teaching is important ooh just don't over do it. If you think its not important, if the members are poor who will sponsor the missionaries in the mission fieldThe problem you lots have is you lack foundation or you deliberately closed your heart to the truth...you believe that the church is the buildings you spent billions to build and yet neglect the members who are the real church and the purpose of the church thereby causing more poor members/society, no wonder the report that said Nigeria is the poorest nation on eat....... church is supposed to amend/assist the government in where they default and build morals to members and indeed the society, it's unfortunately that you have neglected the most important thing about the Church to follow the less important......
