The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is the pioneer Online institution in Nigeria.

Conventional universities had, before now, been taunting them as a less effective University in Nigeria.

The Law Graduates who passed through the NOUN have been denied access to the nation's Law School for the single reason that they do part of their learning on distance basis and do not regularly meet with their lecturers/facilitators.

It has been viewed as purely Academic Politics by which means the graduates of Law through NOUN have been systematically prevented from accessing the Law School so, in effect, they cannot be Barristers and Solicitors even though they have graduated with the knowledge of LAW.

Covid-19 has made it attractive to embrace distance learning and online education at lower and higher levels of education.

We stands the chance to see how and when the conventional universities will approach and borrow the modalities from NOUN.

We shall also see if the graduates of Law from NOUN can be granted access to their country's Law School or another reason with be manufactured to deter them from the right to practice their hard earned knowledge of Law.

All this one na just grammar. It can't be applied here in Nigeria where breaking the rules is the order of the day.

Has FG met the demands of ASUU and NASU? Or even started recent negotiations with them?

Adamu Adamu, just be straight to the point: are we still having WAEC SSCE from 4th August?
What dates are we looking at for reopening schools?
Many people are already confused. Don't add to the confusion.

The effort put into drafting these guidelines is quite commendable. It's no longer news that COVID19 is on earth to spend a long time. So, the earlier we started thinking of how to live and survive with it, the better for all of us. After reopening, schools where many students and staff test positive should be closed again for some time. That will make other schools' management, staff and students to enforce the guidelines if they want to avoid closure.

If they like let them open. If they like let them close. I don't care all I know is I will continue with teaching my private students online via zoom.

And when your private school students eventually shuns your online teaching, up in flames goes your income. Nothing lasts forever bro. grin

This thing is not funny at all. The destiny of every Nigerian student is jeopardized in this country!

Things keeps getting worse!...Nobody to rescue us!

And ASUU is still in one corner waiting for COVID 19 to disappear , so they can continue where they stopped... cry

The only thing I have to say is that God help Nigerian students and the future leaders of this great nation to fulfil their destinies!...No matter what we have to suffer!!!
Amen...

We will fulfil our destiny in Jesus Name.
