Xiaomi is already on it probably on their next series. I saw a picture of one recently but cant remember it name. The camera is in-display, it will be invisible in your screen and will only appear when ready for use. It's a great advancement.
..

Xiaomi MI 9T...or K20

Damn

Just damn..

The water drop and punchhole are my fav though
When the notch first came out I remember many YouTubers were critical of it, especially the IPhone's. Now they all accept it. I'm still on the old bezel phone cos my s7 is still going strong. I plan to get another Samsung when I eventually upgrade(big fanboy here), maybe another 2 years just cos I'd like to have the latest app versions and apps will probably not support my current os anymore and also cos I'd like to use the current os of the time.
Tecno, itel and infinix will just wait for Huawei, apple and Samsung to innovate, then they'll copy with cheap parts and flood naija.

I do not care about phone look provided I can run Kali, load distros and do penetration testing reason I'm a MTK powered devices lover.

Abi....they can't even achieve non contact phone charging...
I guess the whole mobile tech industry is lacking in innovation at the moment....

Baba,
Some people that are using MTK powered devices aren't using it because they don't have the money to get a Xs max or Samsung but because of the flexibility they get from using it.
I run Kali and do all penetration testing, how would I achieve all these from an iPhone and Samsung devices. Snapdragon and Qualcomm isn't for software engineers.

The future of smartphones is contact lens.. Carrying a device will soon be outdated.
I totally share the same thought as you. I read the post and laughed, these guys are only predicting technologies coming in December lol.

To take the prediction into further distant future than lenses, someday man would've connected his consciousness to digital platform and would be connected to the AI. Man's thoughts and imaginations would be based on ads, social media, trade & finance. Crimes would not be possible then because the government knows your thoughts.

While other sane countries are developing and designing devices that could change the standard of living, easy to use, the African continent is busy in what I don't know.
These are humans like us with same blood running through their veins and brains.
Wonder what the continents in the world would look like if others was doing things like the African continent.

The other dude was telling me it's not practical. Imagine cheesy Going by how far man has evolved in technology, the future is going to be super thrilling.

What the future holds is unimaginable, provided we don't go extinct before then as a specie.
