I took a train from Enugu (Ogui Road) to Port Harcourt in 2013. The Eastern axis was working when Jonathan was president. Jonathan even introduced an executive coach that had air conditioners and ports for phone chargers.

We left Enugu at 7am (it works like a flight - no delays) and arrived Port Harcourt (Mile 1) at 3pm. I did it on purpose because it was my first time taking a train. It was fun, and I met many young people.

If Nigeria can fix the railways, it is the safest means of transportation ever. You will relax and eat in a massive kitchen that looks like someone's house. Apart from badly damaged railway that delayed our journey, I really enjoyed it. It was even very cheap!

One of the major problems of Nigeria is lack of maintenance culture.

To the news, it took an Orji Kalu, who just came out of prison, to remind the federal government of the need to revive Nigeria's most lucrative rail line. What are the senators in the East doing at the red chamber?

This Nigeria sef. How can senate be asking government to do stuff. Are they not part of the government. The federal govt consists of three arms: Senate, Executive and Judiciary. It's like asking yourself to tell yourself to do stuff, rather the Senate should ask the Executive arm (which duty is to execute or do) to do stuff but then what do they know than to share money. Me sef wetin even concern me?

Here is the money shared among all looters. Even CAN, sCIA, Afenifere, Ohanaeze, OPC got their. Goatluck Jonaddaft was not partial in looting and sharing. User drunk he-goat.

Anyone who still does not understand the political game being played here is like a blindbat in local politics. Suddenly Orji Uzo Kalu regains his freedom from prison, then he starts to have indoor meetings with some guys closer to power, then he starts to beg for eastern Axis Railways and gets overwhelming support in Senate, as if the subject was never raised by Senator Abaribe who the same Senate shouted down! Please take yourself as an example. If armed robbers comes to your house and steal nearly everything you have worked for so many years. How long will it take you to recover? Jonathan and his cronies did Nigeria a bad thing and it will take years if not decades for the country to recover. Opportunity once lost can never be regained. Nigeria sold oil for nearly $140 a barrel, now oil prices has plummeted. Many other countries use their own oil windfall wisely and had something to fall back on during the rainy days. Nigeria is not so lucky.
