There's no sense in constructing Port-harcourt Maiduguri rail line now because of the insurgency. Except the federal government wants to use part of the money for the project to pay ransom to bandits and Boko haram. Just some few days back, Boko haram elements went and destroyed TCN transmission line, the federal government sent some engineers there to start repair works so that electricity can be restored back to Maiduguri. Only for Boko haram boys to come back there again and do the unthinkable So the point am making is that if they can fustrate engineers trying to repair electricity tower, then it's not advisable at this point to now start a multi billion naira rail line construction in that same region |

This government has lots of underperforming ministers. In spite of that, Rotimi Amaechi is Buhari's best minister. My only concern is that the ministry uses loans to execute all her projects, giving the impression that Nigeria is flat broke. |

He further disclosed that the President has also approved the redirecting of the Eastern line to two new spurs namely: Abakaliki, Ebonyi State and Awka, Anambra State. Dividends of not fighting Buhari. |

Lol, how did those people expect visitors to move around during the Commonwealth Games? ![]() Those same people who rush to send their children to school abroad don't think that maybe they should implement some semblance of orderly mass transit in their own country? |

A rail line from Lagos to the east first would have been more beneficial. A rail line from east to boko haram enclave? Hmmm Anyways, make dem construct am first. ..2023 is fast approaching. |

rail technology should be the future of the transportation in Nigeria. for a city like Lagos with 20 million people not to have a metro rail line is appalling. |
