How about people take care of their elderly by taking them home instead of allowing the state to send them to nursing homes. Why nursing home?

At Cuomo's request, Trump sent naval ships with hospital beds to take in non coronavirus patients and relieve hospitals in New York so as to make space in hospitals for coronavirus patients, those ships were never used to full capacity, instead New York officials sent some coronavirus patients into the ship to infect people there as well.

You are lying, Trump gave the order for the ships to move to New York before Cuomo gave his own foolish order.

The ship was meant to receive non coronavirus patients from filled up hospitals so that bed space can be created for coronavirus patients but from the beginning of the time the ship arrived, there was never a time when the ship was even used up to half capacity meaning that New York officials were lying about their hospitals being filled to capacity. So why were they sending coronavirus patients to old people's homes? Instead of keeping to the agreement to send only non coronavirus patients to the ship they decided to send coronavirus infected patients there to also spread it to the ship.
