They will kill the domestic dog by feeding on it alive.

As for KD, I'm not sure if their venoms can kill a full grown human but I sure do know that its spittle has enough bacteria to infect and kill a prey.

LOL!!! You don't know wild dogs then. Then get patience DIE!!! They are this patient to keep following a prey and wait till it's tired, then gradually, they bite and tear off the flesh bit by bit, from any part of the body, even if the prey keeps defending. They hunt in packs and each one gets a bite of you, that is, before a larger predator chases them all away.

Abegi, wild dogs cant kill a cheetah cos they can't climb trees. Also it's a waste of time chasing a speed star and as well as a predator. An adult cheatah can never be on their menu list except a baby.

The king of the JUNGLE is one lie they sold to us.
Lions do not live in the jungle but the Savannah, where u have shrubs and short grasses. The true king of the Jungle is the Tiger cos that's it's natural habitat. grin

Is white house situated close to the people, how many nigerians are living next to aso rock, do kings build there house where subject & natives are next-door neighbors, ... not just anybody will understand how a king lives or must live.
Been a king is not by "most dangerous or strongest " it actual by been the most feared animal.

A caiman is still a crocodile just as the nile and salt water crocs

Nope. It is a crocodilian not a crocodile.

Sub species of the same Crocodilus family just like alligators.

They're smaller with a sharper snout.

I saw your ranking and I didn’t wanna upset the general order. As long as it doesn’t favour the King of the Jungle, I am fine. grin

Well, a king doesn't have to be the strongest person in the community. Anyways, I get your drift.
Re: Remarkable Moments In the animal world [photos] by ThierryJay: 5:31am On Jul 17, 2020
Tokziby:

True, lion might be overhyped but still doesn't change the fact that it tops the list on the food chain in the wilderness. Lion is the only animal that has no predator. No animal(not even dingos and hyenas) HUNTS Lions for food but Lion can decide to put down any animal on the menu list regardless of the size. From elephants to Giraffe, hippos etc down to the cats family. That's the reason why they sleep carelessly in open with no worry of a predator.
However, they might be found wanting in areas of speed, size, agility, endurance etc. In addition, they could get killed in solitary when they are carelessly, even by a single spine of a pocupine, heard of Buffalo, a single back kick of a giraffe, one nasty bite of a hippo, shred apart by the Savage hyenas and wild dogs, crushed by a ferrocious bite of a croc in the water hole.etc

Well, I can say the same for a Tiger, a jaguar and a grizzly/polar bear. They also do not have any predators in their ecosystem. So your claim restricting it to only a lion is inaccurate.

And I quite agree with your second paragraph.

Tokziby:

Guy, never put wolves at the bottom of the list. They are the deadliest when it comes to pack movement. They are the uncles of wild dogs, they are bigger, faster and damn ferrocious.
If they were to exist in Africa, wild dogs and hyenas will be their junior.
Just because u can't find them in Africa doesn't make them less deadly. Their stare alone will make u wet ur pants. grin

You have a point. But I consider hyena's and dingos more dangerous as they have a stronger bite force (pound for pound) than wolves. Wild dogs have been proven to be the most successful in their hunting endeavours. While they and hyenas also have a higher nuisance index than wolves.

A)They follow them in cars that look armored. It would have something like a crane that drops/lifts the camera to whatever angle. The camera itself would be controlled from a system by the photographer.

B)Drop the camera and movements would trigger shutters.

C) Disguise and lay low to get pictures.

D) Be friends with the animals and you can take all the pictures you want. grin

@alexbraczkowski
@russ_wildlife
@dean.schneider

The aforementioned are good wildlife photographers on IG. The last one lives with or rather, is a member of a pride. grin grin

Wow. Thanks for those Instagram handles you shared. The last guy on the list is just amazing. How he manages to bond with such a deadly predator as lion is still mind blowing.

Point of corrections boss. It doesn't get chased out before adult. They usually live with the pride till they could fend for themselves and when the time is right, they challenge the leader of the pride. A fully grown lion can never survive alone cos they lack speed, endurance and the ability to take down preys on their own. Even if they successfully take down a prey, the scavengers or territory owners will snatch it. Secondly, they can't hunt in another prides territory else they get attacked, they will only have to depend on left overs. Thirdly, if Lions don't feed well, they become very vulnerable and can be killed by those tout and thogue of hyenas or dingos. Lastly, a solitary lion is as good as dead once they are outcasted.
so how do they survive when they get chased out into the wild

very creative of you then. I enjoy your titles immensely. If not for my ambitions, I would have partnered United Nations (UN), to set up an NGO for animal rights in Nigeria. Lots of endangered species in Nigeria, will liaise with UN and Nigerian Govt to put ban on some game hunting. That's how much I love animals and especially the endangered species.

He is right. Male lion cubs are pretty unfortunate as kids. They get chased out by the older males. That way the older males are sure the next mating season would bring forth kids that are theirs. Only the lionesses are absorbed into the pride, male cubs are not that fortunate. They leave, form alliance with other thrown-out cubs and get preyed on by hyenas and other carnivores. A good number of them do not make it to adulthood. When/if they make it to adulthood, they look for a pride to take over and the cycle continues.

nice work bro.this is educative!!

That Komodo dragon,is it capable of killing an adult human? Also,those wild dogs,can they be mixed with our domestic Alsatian dogs at home(like making a wild dog and a domestic dog have sex)to produce more aggressive and powerful puppies for dog-lovers?

Komodos are highly capable of eating humans and just anything as they are resistant to venoms.

In fact, Komodos have a fierce reputation for killing dutch explorers and locals in its Indonesian abode.

Don't think of crossing those dogs with our domestic canines except you don't like your life or you run a dogfighting ring.

The new male leader may not bond with the cubs, that doesn't mean they'll get chased out as their mum will take care of them. What u mean is if they have attained an age that's old enough to join in hunt but not enough to confront their leader. The new leader usually see them as a threat hence, it chase them out before adulthood.
However, if they survive, they usually come back to claim the throne.

Can they chase a cheetah to exhaustion? Speed get class abeg
yes they can, cheetahs can only maintain their top speed for up to a minute, so if a cheetah chases it prey for a minute and he doesnt catch it, it will give up, coz a that speed they tire quickly.. But wild dogs they run for hours even with their puppies, a pup that cant keep up dies... So some of the wild dogs that reaches adulthood has been trained to run distance for hours,.
moreover wild dog hunt in packs and are more co operative., while cheetahs are usually loners or moves in pairs, but predators dont usually hunt each other, when there are preys who wont fight back like a predator does

Lol! Have you read the animal bible? It's in their bible to eat themselves. So far you're an animal( including human), it's either you eat or be eaten, it's survival of the fittest. It's the law of nature, we animals must feed on ourselves for us to survive.

Venomous means it needs to be injected directly into your bloodstream though the skin while poisonous means it'll cause harm when eaten.
That particular snake gets it poison from the poisonous frogs which are it's primary diet
And the poison doesn't kill it, this life no just balance.

That's because male lions have a higher natural protective instinct of their pride especially against hyenas. The females mainly focus on fending for the pride.

But Poco, I didn't you know you were an avid follower of the animal species. Nice to know you've got eclectic interests.

On a lighter note, one of your earlier posts sounded like you were trying to defend female lion species as you are inclined to for human females. I was like "you don carry the mata enter animal domain shoo? grin
