Hello guys, good morning. Please I need advice, I asked my brother to help me with a car to use as Uber business, the car will serve as a loan to be repaid within a stipulated time. My challenge is that instead of the regular 2004 - 2006 Toyota Corolla, he bought the 2010 for me. Please is this car too fragile for the Uber business, what are the pros and cons of using this car? Thank you all
It is not as strong as regular corolla. But with adequate care and maintenance you won’t have issues. Just bear in mind that roads are bad in Lagos. Got something similar to yours 2years ago. 2011 Toyota Camry very clean and sophisticated , I Wanted to sell and buy something smaller and stronger , but the pricing was discouraging. I had to use my thing jejely for ehailing business. Thank God before December this year I will recoup my investment and still sell it at a very good price. The ball is in your court, it’s up to you to pamper the car. Toyota product hardly give issues if well taken care of.

Fuel consumption is always exaggerated. If there is no problem with a car, any 4-plug car fuel consumption cant be overbearing. I've seen people using honda accord 05 with a bigger engine for this hustle. Why will 10 Corolla fuel consumption be worse than big daddy or camry muscle with bigger engine, which some people still use for this biz
bro i tire, i use 09 camry 4plug and i can say fuel consumption is very reasonable..i pegged my fuel @3k per day if am working and i don't allow my fuel get to reserve before i fuel for the next day..I minus bolt bonuses, minus fuel and i still dey see something thankgible

If you take a look at the map, everywhere is red.

Concerning 3mb , I'm considering taking leave from next Friday for at least 2 weeks and see how they manage the traffic, before I get back on the road.

Taking a leave won’t solve the problem. I suggest rescheduling of work time. I am presently thinking of Saturday and Sundays, maximizing the use of weekends. Also Tuesdays and Thursday the off market days, roads are usually free.

Hello bosses, I want to start an Uber business in Lagos. I already have a driver in mind. Please what is the current average weekly delivery in Lagos. I don't want give my driver an amount that would leave him with nothing at the end of the week or where he will be struggling to pay and I also want to avoid a situation where I am being shortchanged.

Thank you all in advance

ekehopp:

Finally came “positively full circle” today with my driver accounts.

Timeline below:

-24th May: Commenced online driver-partner registration on both Uber and Bolt. Vehicle inspection for both done a week later.
-24th June: Bolt activated my account
-17th July: Uber activated my account

As both offices are closed, had to follow up via email and Twitter for Bolt. And via Twitter and the Driver app (booking an in-person appointment; sending messages to support) for Uber.

Covid19 has been brutal. But i thank God for fortunate decisions I made earlier, and for the Ride-sharing industry.

The barriers are not erected!
Hello Ekehopp Pls can someone use a Dagboed Driver license for this registration?? please kindly reply me,so I know next line of action...
