I have. In fact for the past 3 months I have been using different live streaming services. I normally look for ones that offer data saving streaming services like WSS, Mobikora, Vola Sports. I normally stream around 100mb/hour. But I have the option of using higher quality services.
how do I reduce data consumption on vola sports app, it's streaming in HD as default

this isnt Europe or USA where streaming videos pays off. here u have to buy data that are not reliable with slow network.. they shd have give me that money to invest in other sectors than paytv. Nigeria internet perpetration isnt deep enough to have this.. power, data and subs arent reliable..

I hope this sways DSTV off their toes and render them useless if they don't change their terms of service. But again, DSTV na Mario, dem go die there.

Hahaha, showmax is owned by dstv

N6300 is still not worth it, compared to dstv compact subscription of N6975 cos one will still need to pay for internet. Streaming online in HD will almost cost 500mb per hour or more!

They need to partner with telecommunications companies or make it pay as you watch

The company is owned by dstv, you can either sub for showmax or dstv

You can also use showmax on your tv

Are they going to pay for Data?

Why I Should I Pay, When I Can Stream free with Mobdro APP?

Mobdro stream with HD only, consume a lot of data.
1 match will cost about 1.5gb to 2.5gb.

Showmax has options for SD for lower consumption of data with a little bit drop in quality(just like startime mobile streaming quality) and you can choose HD if you can afford it

I think there are android Emulator for PC. But you know pc data consumption is going to be more than android devices, especially if you run many softwares on PC

You will choose one of the SD stream link but I prefer using WSS and Mobikora. There I can have much more control over data consumption
