Does the MOE and MOFA accept statement of result for authentication?

I have been following this thread and it has been helpful however i need clarity .
I am currently been considered for a doctorate by AAU(Kalegenfurt) and i am awaiting my admission letter as the school was kind enough to waive the legalization process but rather accepted notarized copies of my documents.

Question 1. Can i apply for visas for my self and dependants simultaneously upon receipt of my admission letter.is this permitted as the plan is to travel together .

Question 2.For application to the embassy for the visa,do i have to go through the legalisation process that was waived by my school?
Please advise.

1: currently the only visa exemption, is for student resident permit, so unless your dependent is also applying for study, then they need a separate visa application. (but then you wouldn't be asking the question if that was the case.)

2: once the school waives legalization, for Nigerians, you still have to legalize your document as you still need some legalized documents for resident permit ( the waiver just means the part where you send your documents to the school after legalization, and before you apply for resident permit have been shifted to the beginning.
Like.

Before:
Legalization = admission letter = resident permit

After waiver:
Admission letter = Legalization = resident permit
(Though The waiver reduces the time for getting your admission letter, it's just by a couple of day,..or maybe like two to three weeks. So by that time you would be going through the legalization process.


This is as simple as it can get...

I've not booked I'm still trying to get the documents they require.

1. my question is must the bank statement b in ur own name? or has anyone successfully used their parents account. Will the embassy refuse ur Application if there has been no transactions on ur account until the required funds are paid in?

2. how long does it take to get an appointment date at the embassy after booking? i.e if u book today, when will ur appointment date likely be? next week or next month? what's the timeline like?

I am guessing you should call the embassy, to get more info on the statement of account, and also, my best guess is you need to show steady flow of income.

And getting an appointment at the embassy is a piece of cake, just send them an email,..at most two weeks you'd get a date...

I didn't quite get the question very well,...but I'll try explaining what I think it might be.

The admission process is different from the one at the embassy,...you can do them at a different time interval,...but you cannot apply for a resident permit if you don't possess an admission letter,...

So, you can choose to verify, then legalize before applying for the admission or you can do it the other way around, (but just to be on the safer side, it's more advisable to apply for the admission first, before going through with the legalization)

Also concerning the time interval,..you can legalize your documents this year, and still use it the next year, it's a matter of choice,...

Please i would like to pursue a bachelors program in austria and i have searched for alot of schools and i got some, were the program are taught in English and cheap. But most of the schools are requesting for A-level which i dont have please i want to ask if i can use SAT coupled with my waec to apply since SAT is also referred to A-level. I have contacted the admission office and i have not gotten any reply please what are your thought on this.

Currently, I am in Abuja for my verification process.

The documents you need for your residence permit are :

1. Birth certificate
2. State of origin certificate/letter from your state of origin
3. Police certificate (but you don't need that for the verification process).
I.e. after payment of the 200k, you wait till you're asked to come for the legalization itself, then you go along with your police certificate.

These above are in preparation for your residence permit.

If the school requests for other documents, you legalize them also.

For me, school was asking for all, but now, they've limited to my bachelor's degree only.

Making 4 documents to be legalized.

But I'll be taking all to the MOE and MFA first, before proceeding to the embassy.

I'm sorry but some clarifications needed here. Have you been offered admission already by the school or the school requested for legalized documents in fulfillment of the application procedure? the university of vienna asked me to legalize some documents but from the things I've read here, I wont be able to meet up with the school's deadline. What do I do? Please guys your response(s) seriously needed asap!!!please!
