Change of name in this case might not be necessary. I might be wrong though but some times, the caretaker of the building might not find it important to change the name.

A travel to this local govt will make you weep for them do to chains of neglected bad road in need of urgent attention that seems to be coming from nowhere.

People did not know that so many towns in abia state have not witnessed asphalt roads before and such town are up to 65 percent of the state towns and villages.

I'm telling you bro.. You know abịa so well.. Imagine we had to travel to Arochukwu for a burial that should take 3 hours lasted more than 6 hrs because of the bad Ohafia to Arochukwu road.. Seriously Abia state is the worsed governed state in the south east

Yet the roads leading to their place hasn't experienced tarred road for the first time.. Is not about having big men, what about the poor people from there, how do they move their farm produce, or the poor aren't entitled to have good things too?

Believe it or not, Abia State is a use...less state.
Before you quote me, 'abum nwafor Ndume Ibeku'. It will take prayers and the grace of God to redeemed back the state as (Gods Own State).

Too much BLOOD in the land from past and present leaders has kept the state backward. The last time I visited home to spend holiday, I could not hold back my tears. I sensed hardship on the atmosphere. I just spend 3days in umuahia and travel back to my base.

The state needs revival and cleansing from the cry of innocent blood that is crying over the state.

Until that alter that was buried in government house is uprooted, the state will remain backward and the destinies of Abians (excluding that of my family and I) will remain in the hands of few.

Things like this is mostly common in governmental buildings located in remote villages, were the citizens hardly feels government presence.
I have seen something like this in one remote villages in Edo state, were the signboard of an Heath centre still bear Bendel State but the difference is that there's a new signboard bearing Edo state.
