Many people outside Christianity and within Christianity who do not attend church regularly may wonder why many others in the faith choose to make this a weekly habit, different people have different reasons why they attend the churches they do.

Generally, there are four main reasons people go to church which are; to fellowship, do the sacraments, worship God, and give. However, there are many other reasons people go to church, one being to charge phones , sounds weird right? Yeah, some people literally attend services just because they lack power supply and that serves as a means to power up their appliances which leaves me wondering why they won't just get a phone like the Pouvoir 4 that has a very strong 6000 mAh battery that can last for days, rather they'll prefer to be carrying their chargers to public gatherings

Another reason is fashion , the service serves as a means to showcase that new dress they bought, some others go there to meet people , that's an avenue for them to hook up, others may even be lucky to find their life partner.

Please don't get me wrong, I am not judging, but just citing the obvious and I'm open to other reasons as to why people attending services. Let's discuss.

I don't think people can just go to church to charge their phones only, definitely they are just using 1 stone to kill 2 birds, afterall we all know power supply in the country is poor so its not a sad idea for the church to help your ministry too by aiding your charging of phone as far as it doesn't disturb the ministry in anyway

Because being naturally an independent thinker:
1. I started questioning things.
2. I realized that there was no need for prayer. What will happen will still happen and what happens to a believer also happens to a non believer. Bad things and good things happen at equal rate.
3. I realized that fear characterizes religion (Christianity). Take away fear of the unknown, and everybody will be realistic.
4. I found out that when you live a life without recognizing the existence of the supernatural, extraordinary or spiritual, then you'll have peace...inner innocent peace. Not that they do not exist, I don't ascribe relevance to their existence as they do not belong to my world.
In other words, most Christians believe there is always an evil being after them, hence they give spiritual interpretation to things and start praying against it...and by so doing, evil things will keep on tormenting them and there will always be something to pray against. We attract what we think.

5. It dawned on me that happiness comes in living a simple free life of goodness because nature will always pay me back whatever I do.
Most importantly, Optimism and positive mental attitude is all I need to stay alive... freely.
6. In the absence of prayer, I realized that to get whatever I want, I will have to work for it the right way and if I work and I don't get it, then I'll have to figure out another way... because there is always a way out.

To charge phone

Back then, I do go to different churches as a first timer in order to get 'first timer gift', but latter when I stick with one church especially when I was serving I carry my charger along, because it takes no time before my phone drains out.

But now with my TECNO Camon15 with strong 5000mAh battery capacity, all that is history now.

I think mine will be to worship, but I can't deny I haven't gone to charge phones too before, maybe I'll consider getting that Pouvoir 4 device and see how it pans out

Even though my mission on earth is to save the minds of people who are engulfed in religion from mind slavery, I still go to church once in a while to see how many gullible people we still have left. However, this year I have never attended church service at all, especially because of the church closure nationally. If not, I would have entered churches to observe and see how my people are being scammed on a daily basis.

There's this church in my area that has a lotta pretty young gyals... I had to become a member, bruh. Now I religiously attend church services like a true believer.
I love pretty gyals and I enjoy being in the midst of pretty gyals.

I go to church to look for sweet and hot chicks... One just gave me her number last week in St Albert in uniben... We have a date thus evening.
