So Unai Emery will be Chukwueze's coach as from next season?? Interesting.

I am seeing news of Unai Emery joining Villarreal.

If it would be a Front two. I very much like that proposition not only b'cos it would feature both players... But most importantly b'cos it would definitely work. smiley

Iheanacho will strive as the more withdrawn striker with Osimhen functioning as the more advanced striker in that front two. Absolute Lethality will be on display.

But in a one striker system, Osimhen will always be my pick. Iheanacho will be benched. Recall that about four years ago, we talked about this and I think we both agreed Osimhen will lead the line.

TheGoodJoe:
I say we play a two man striking pair. Nacho - Osimhen.

I have also considered this thought at some point.

TheGoodJoe:
Three words for Nacho.
Real
Betis
Pellegrini.

Santi carzola should please not retire yet. This guy is an exceptional midfield maestro shocked

How about Osimhen against Australia? He was a monster that day. Or against Brazil where he set up one and scored one with a beautiful header.

But fine point on Nacho. His display in that 6-1 demolition of Mexico was absolutely monstrous and wicked.

TheGoodJoe:
Iheanacho against Mexico in the first leg to me is the best performance by a Nigerian in the U17 level. For that performance, I will give Nacho the nod. Although Kanu against Argentina In the 1993 U17 was stellar but lacked the individual goals.

You say?
Kelechi has been in eagles set up before Osimhen, at a point he was leading our attack. A proven goalscorer and has done well in the EPL although am not using his EPL performance as a yard stick against Osimhen. He is also more experience playing at the top level

He should dare not

Football will miss this guy

If not for covid-19 the guy would play in the euros with Spain at 35 even the coach said so

One man striker is Osimhen without a doubt. He is a monstrous striker and offers the best of both worlds; strength and speed.

However, I would still play Nacho as a 10 behind him to utilise Nacho's passing accuracy and he will have the liberty to pop into the attack to provide offensive support.

He will be going under a very top manager and will learn a lot. However, I have not known Emery to be explosive with Wing forwards and will teach Chukwueze more of dropping into the midfield to provide numerical advantage in the center. It will be interesting seeing how he would manage Chukwueze.

Belated congratulations are in order for Uzoho. He could potentially be seeing European soccer (Europa) next season, as with several other SE players. With Okoye's move to Rotterdam, our GK department is starting to see signs of life again. It's now up to the both of them to secure ample game time in their respective clubs.

Ighalo rotting on the bench, a price he has to pay for rolling back the years, by that I mean, resorting back to his ABF style of football. The chances he missed in the minutes he was given in the EPL have come back to haunt him

Leicester have flattered to deceive l said quote some time ago that the EPL is not a sprint but a marathon. And towards the end I said they will struggle to maintain 6th position.

Currently they are getting schooled by Tottenham they can't cope 3-0 at half time and two goals by Kane.

And quite a few here say they don't rate Kane.

Modern footballers of high quality can finish with
instinct both left or right foot. This should be a basic standard.

There was a time l think it was a requirement in the U17 Golden Eaglets, but l dont think it's the case anymore.

I see coaches right from age 10 in EPL academies making sure kids have two feet proficiency, by the time they get to 16 it's become natural.
I never knew you could be taught to be two-footed, I thought it was a natural ability.

If modern ballers have this ability, how come Messi is one-footed?
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 7:14pm On Jul 19, 2020
Yes, I see where you are coming from but to be honest, looking at what both offers individually in sync with the #9 role as a lone striker...you may agree that Osimhen is the best fit. Combining power, speed and brains, Osimhen really is far more complete for the role.

Iheanacho is more brains, less power and has very good speed but not as fast as Osimhen.

A front two of both could be a very solid option for us in a two man attack system like a 3-5-2.

Mason Mount scores for Chelsea unfortunately the very reliable Manchester United goal keeper De Gea has made another uncharacteristic mistake.

It's going be very difficult for Man U to salvage anything from this game at 2-0

Messi can use both feet but devastatingly better with his natural left foot.

It's like I really not sure which was JJay best and or natural foot. He just as good with both feet.

Not a bad proposition. Nacho as 10 behind a super mobile Osimhen... Mehn... Nacho's directness in that role which he will interpret as a more cerebral SS will see chances created in droves which Osimhen will surely bury more than half the times.
It's another interesting option if we aren't looking at the usual in Iwobi.
