i don't doubt that there are gems in the Turkish league but the overall level of the competition will not produce instant world beaters.

why do you think one moniker here was always wary of nigerian players moving to 'thispor' 'thatspor' 'everywherespor'

andrewbaba44:
Not good players can still come out of there but they do

If you want me to list good players that come out of the Turkish league I can do that

??

You are quite very sensitive to any slight sign of "racist action" lol

But uhmmm... I also asked same question to myself when I saw the pic so I see what you mean. I just try not to make matters out of these things. Most important thing is he is their head coach and the brains of their Triumph. Credits to him in the end won't be denied.

Subzero047:
Why should they make the picture of the head coach small in relation of the other coaches

Akin to how Disney made the picture of John Boyega small to appease their Chinese audience

I smell something here

I repeat l do not dislike players.

Maybt. I am being too measured in a professional sense. So l look at the players attributes in relation to the club that wants him and their requirements.

Using that assessment framework, l found Awaziem too slow to play RB, but very intelligent to play within his limitations. Nonetheless, he was the weakest link in the last AFCON he was turned inside out as a right back. His lack of pace pulling the CB's put of position to compensate for him.

On the other hand Aina was the best defender despite playing less games the AFCON statistics proved that so it is not just opinion based.
SE is not a charity organisation, you muy earn your place. Aina must show that he's better than what we have or countinue being a deputy

Komekn haba! fear God sometimes with this your analysis. how in the world was awaziem our weakest link? someone who played out of position and still did well. how many goals do you remember him being at fault for? turned inside out? where? how?

i like aina but don't make it sound as if he had a excellent tournament. remember how the cameroonian striker brushed him off before scoring their second goal?

That moniker said his opinion and i am saying mine also

He said if you are not playing for the big boys they should not consider you and I agree with that , gala,Fenerbahçe ,Beşiktaş,Istanbul ,Trabzonspor are big teams in Turkey

Don’t be quick to forget that awaziem played at the afcon while in turkey and even shehu

According to CAF stats guys covering the Afcon last year, Awaziem and Omeruo were the only defenders at that AFCON that were not dribbled past from the group stage till the Semifinals. While Awaziem's streak was broken I think in the Semis, Omeruo kept his till the tournament was over.

Someone who was hard to beat one on one was our weakest link?? Sometimes you just have to laugh at some of the things Komekn says here. Dude is a comic mood. Hahahahahaha
I just tire..
Since the AFCON he kept saying Awaziem was our weakest link...
But he hasn't been able to point out one major mistake Awaziem made that cost hs a game at the tournament..

I thought you said Stats are not conclusive. Why are u now using it as a benchmark to determine our best defender at the last AFCON. Again, Double standards
I said stats are not conclusive but indicative.

Converging the statistics with my opinion is not deviation from the proposition but confirmation.

You are ridiculously unbelievable but lets watch and see what happens when the UCL season begins. You are comparing a propped up English boy to anbundle of talent Zuby.

Tears will flow the day Zuby will win man of the match in the champions league...tears of sorrow

If he wasn't outstanding,he won't be nominated for Leganes player of the season award..
That's why asked the question OUTSTANDING in what context.

The club has been relegated for poor performance in the league. He was nominated among a bunch of underachievement poor perfoming players.

Even if he was the most outstanding in his team that doesn't make him outstanding in the league.

Now would you call that rational in claiming a player is OUTSTANDING.

Wake up your being delusional and misguided by emotive based sentiment in your favoritism for a player.

Danielnino00:

You keep shouting "Porto Porto" as if it's Awaziem's fault that he isn't starting at Porto..

Did you even watch the few games he has managed to play for Porto?

The fact that he has managed to play in the laliga and ligue1 with decent stats to back it up shows how good he is..

Let Porto agree to sell him and we will see if he will lack offers.

Nantes wanted to sign him permanently and Porto refused.he returned to Porto and they couldn't guarantee him a starting shirt,so he went on loan to Turkey..

How many players come from the Turkish league to start in laliga clubs?
Chei see reasoning.

A player has been at club for 6 years and has played 10 games for them. So who is to blame his village people.

Dude wake up the guy is simply not good enough it's as clear as DAYLIGHT. He is not good enough there is nothing complicated.

keep on deceiving n giving ur self high hopes.

I don't hype nor monitor the progress of old carpenters in young boys skin rather I follow young, talented and enterprising ballers who are likely to reach the expected heights in the round leather game

Is there any you can recommend.

My proposition is without contention and doesn't change.

"Better to be a Lion in a lower league and club than an anonymous mouse in a top club and league"
.

So if you are the most outstanding in lowly league, then l think the opportunity should be given.

Aribo was essentially a league one player who has claimed position in his first game for the SE literally.

Playing out of position and doing a half baked job is not an excuse. He has no pace and he is not a RB makeshift or not he should not be playing in thar position, because he is not good enough.

I remember it very clearly Omeruo missed a routine clearance header from a long ball got bullied and then Aina tried to cover up for him in the Cameroon game.

Indeed in that game both goals came from poor defensive errors by Omeruo.

Video no deh lie see YouTube clip below.
