Tamunotonye22:Who do you think should be starting ahead of the other next season? The one that had a relatively good season or the one languishing and being benched |

Iwobi was an unusued Sub today for Everton It's safe to say that his 1st season for Everton was poor I pray for a better 2020/2021 season as he is one of my Fav in the GWG |

TheLoneCitizen:Sometimes wonder how these folks are coaches yet that bro from his couch seem to have more tactical intelligence than them. Ancelotti uses the 4-2-3-1 for the first time and Everton absolutely dominate Sheffield. IWOBI season. |

komekn:See your own reasoning self... He has been with them for 6 years doesn't mean he has been a Porto player for 6 years.. He was a Nantes and Leganes player too. Porto may be bigger than Nantes and Leganes but the Portuguese league is definitely not bigger than laliga and ligue1 .. And the fact that Awaziem managed to start in 2 of Europe's top 5 league shows how good he is.. Just stay calm, offered will soon come in for him... E go shame u last last.. |

IDENNAA:There are a 1001 young talents that don't make it. In football academies there are more who don't make it than make it. We don't waste time on those who have done nothing. If l was to flood these pages with youth players of Nigeria origin across all the EPL clubs and Championship, you will be talking about a hundred players. That will be boring. So we talk about those who are doing SOMETHING HERE and NOW not those that may or may not in the future. And when we talk about a player who has had multiple opportunities over the past five years many undeserved it's a Unfair and favoritism. Particularly when he has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. |

TheLoneCitizen:Callejon is not a natural CF but if he doesn't extend his contract, Jovic can also play from RW |

chrisooblog:You are clearly biased and or you lack football understanding. As a right back you consider the positive not the negative and you position yourself accordingly for that positive option in your positioning. This was a long ball coming from the just outside the 18 of the Cameroon side, you are talking about a 60 yard long ball. You can see it coming you are a CB it's what we call, " bread and butter" defending very very basic. This was Omeruo ball it's routine defending for a CB. That means the RB should be moving forward to receive the anticipated header from Omeruo. But he failed woefully, got bullied and Aina had to backtrack to cover the mistake and was wrong side of the attacker. The first goal was also a defensive mistake by Omeruo wrong positioning and failed to clear and he was not even wrinwg sided. Aina was never at fault. After that fail, he would have realised that his CB us not good enough and us getting bullied all.rje time. From that point onwards he took up a negative position anticipating his CB is likely to mess up. This is basic football formation it's not complicated unless you have a weak link. |

TheLoneCitizen:Everton players are built for a 4-2-3-1 but Ancelotti's go-to formation is 4-4-2 My guess is Ancelotti will bring in players to fit his formation in the transfer window |

Danielnino00:You are confusing yourself. He is so good why is he not playing for Porto, why is he on loan all the time. He played in French league one and he was so outstanding that nobody valued him enough to buy him. Nobody even asked for a loan. Then he faced the big express to Turkey not even the top teams. He has played in La Liga but he has been relegated a reflection of his ability. How many La Liga teams are fighting for his signature, because he is so outstanding. I can imagine him on the flight back to Turkey very soon. |

It can go either way. Look at Ramon Azeez. He's still very much around, although at a point it seemed he will not amount to anything. Even Rabiu Ibrahim is not down and out. It seems an average of 3 players always come out good from all of our U17 sides that make it to the finals of the U17 WC. Maybe we will see an improvement of that number for our U17 set of 2013 and beyond. Make we dey look am. But the truth is U17 is nothing but youth football. Even the greatest talent at that level may never reach his supposed potential. IDENNAA: |

While I agree with your argument that those that have fallen off the radar playing wise should not get mentions over those with better performances, I don't agree that they should be forgotten totally. They are worthy of mention when necessary. But the fact should be stated clearly, by not judging them based on the potential they once showed. If they are really as good as the potential they once had it would show on the pitch, they will get game time and they would stand out. Until then, we should only speak of them in the context of if they will ever reach the potential they once showed they had. modified komekn: |
