Soon, Nigerians Won't Even Be Allowed To Make Purchases Online by WordpressPhysco(op):
It's another annoying and frustrating moment.

Went online to purchase a product for my website. Guess what?

Nigeria is the notable only country deleted or eliminated from the list.

Now let's see how this affects me and us.

#1. It affects my business, completely confused on what next.

#2. It affects my immediate environment : if my fam depends on me and I can't purchase a product for my website - work - and make money then lack is on the way.

#3. It affects the economy. No flow of cash which starts from the immediate environment.

#4. It affects emotional health being.

#5. It affects moralistic living - how many times will one regret being a Nigerianhuh?

I never chose to be a Nigerian...

I was talking to myself, it's high time we became realistic because what we think doesn't affect the average person or you will surely affect your loved one when they come to this stand.

Now, how do I transact for my business?

Horrible to be a Nigerian?

We need to fight this else more suffering will be on the real internet entrepreneurs struggling to make a living.

The punishment for internet fraud should be made public and announced to the whole world to see our efforts. I'm really tired of being banned from transacting for my business just because I'm a Nigerian.

Imagine Chad, Niger, Ghana and other smaller countries are in the list, but Nigeria?

200 Million People?

There have to be a solution for this country else if we depend on prayer or babbling of words alone then our faith is baseless and may not work...

Op . What site is Nigeria not on the list. Are you just noticing that. So many site doesn't ship to Nigeria and you can't even access some site from Nigeria. While some accept Nigeria payment but won't ship here. The discrimination as been there before now. Look at PayPal for example, you can pay using PayPal but you can't withdraw. Seek for another away to do your business, there is always an alternative.

Thats their own way of protesting cyber crimes and fraud being pepetrated by Nigerians daily. The truth is that we support these crimes outrightly or by not taking any collective n positive actions to stop thier activities. Dubious people flaunt thier ill gotten wealth daily and what did we do to stop them? Nothing. Thats why it will eventually consume all of us in the future if we don't join hands to fight the criminals amongst us as a country.

You can't blame the sites that are banning them. It is only with a Nigerian that you will be debating on whether fraud is right or wrong. It is only a Nigerian that will openly go online to say that he is into Yahoo. It is only in Nigeria that you see youths cursing financial crimes commission for arresting Yahoo boys.

Unless the government steps in and takes severe measures against fraud (preferably penalty) and the musicians that openly praise them, a lot more bans with hit Nigeria. Some dumb people think they are fighting colonial masters by doing 419, not knowing that they are actually killing jobs and online business opportunities for millions of Nigerians. In the past, it was easy to get international scholarships and Visas as a Nigerian but these criminals have blocked everything now.

God knows how angry I felt the last time a seller openly told me that he can't ship his goods to me because of my nationality on EBay.

It serves us right because we joke alot with important issues and think that's how the rest of the world is. Very soon they'll start banning us from entering their country. Let's continue the status quo and see if we'll not implode.

Obviously to genuinely change the status quo. Get the basic human morals and values working again in Nigeria. Stop scycophancy and push Nigerians to believe in itself. Wipe the 'board' clean and start building a new Nigeria afresh.
