I don't know maybe this a stupid appeal but Sirs & Ma's, it would be nice if you don't reveal cash transactions on this thread. Not only for the fear of being prey to scammers (I believe they're present here as well), but so you don't discourage young folks like myself by the figures you call. Madam Sholapey decline at a certain offer almost made me lose my hold on my keypad wink

I don't agree, keep watching those figures. It will start looking achievable to you.

With 31m naira, I will get 1,937,500 units of Zenith bank @ #16/unit

@#2.5 dividend (because of COVID), that gives #4,843,759 naira annually

With dividend yield @ 15.6%, capital will be recovered in 6.5 years

Boss, was WHT factored in?

People stock up for different reasons. All am saying is you can't be 100% sure like you stated your Returns in 6years time.

Some of us predicted our ROI in Ntb some years back thinking by now it would've double up our Capital even though Capital is safe but see what's happening now.

You have two choices:
1. be inspired. Create a plan and modify as need be
2. be intimidated/discouraged. And do nothing

One shows a growth mindset. The other doesn't.

A friends dad is the MD of a big broadcast corporation in Nigeria, he paid over a million to join IBB golf and country club, he ended up not getting any unusual contracts, instead the members there started asking him for favours, nowadays most people are packaging.
Barrytone:

I have invite from friends to join ibom golf club but as a village boy it's not worth my time. Ask me what I enjoy doing and not what I should do because my financial status changed. I enjoy everything I am doing now, I am okay with my plans so far and accomplishment of the plans. May I inform you that I meet up my yearly target before March of every year, despite covid, am even targeting my 2021 target. What else should make me change a winning formula. All I need is time and I will achieve my goal. To me, the key is contentment, contentment is meeting your goals and aspirations. I never set goals that are not achievable and don't change targets until the entire process is completed. I still have 12 years for the present financial plan to expire then I can think of something else. Clubs or favours from people are not part of that plan. I stick to my game before I go faint for national assembly when question time come. That prof is a member of several club but I guess his life will never remain the same. Na from club cultism and fraternity go come. Peace of mind is golden and can't be traded. I remain a low life kingpin provided my soul enjoys it.

Gokada P.A isnt African, he is a black American.
emmanuelewumi:

As the PA he knows everything about his boss, his Investments, account balance etc. The PA has an entitlement mentality to his boss wealth...

He stole about $90,000 from his boss, he believed the guy should be able to write it off ..
People who worked for their money won't do that

The PA spent the money on frivolities, which is very common among us ie Africans

The law of attraction works more or less like faith (in religious front). And you know faith is the assurance/hope of things not seen, but faith must go with "works" otherwise it's useless similarly, laws of attraction needs to be accompanied with works for success to be achieved.

I can't see any cash transaction, what I can see is the amount a seller is willing to sell her property.

Try and read Monday Guardian newspaper once in a while, you will see properties that are offered for sale for hundreds of millions of Naira and above.

You get scammed when you don't do your due diligence, cross checking and confirm that due diligence, when you are greedy, invest in businesses or Investment schemes that offer unsustainable high yield, or you are highly motivated to make very fast money, you failed to invest in your financial education etc

Oga boss, no rank me amongst the gurus, mbok. As at present, I do only tbills, hoping to do bond and learning it. Just tried my first calculations on secondary bond now and am not impressed after all. If you have a steady flow of income, don't risk your capital where you can't personally supervise, capital security should be placed ahead of interest at all points, just keep topping funds and you will get to a point low % won't hurt you.

Like any Investment in the capital market price fluctuates but on the long run it will appreciate as long as the business is growing.

For REIT on the long run income will increase, a REIT that gave an income of N4 million about 9 years ago gave an income of N7.3 million in 2020.

Stop calling an honest person a coward please. This is why many people pretend to be happy for you when inside inside they are jealous. Because if they are honest with their feelings people will call them cowards.
