Good evening nairalanders,l have to create this topic to seek your advice.l have been in Ghana for three years, before now l had the planned to move to another country but not any more.l recently got sick and stayed at home for a week but no friend or neighours asked me the reasons why I stayed at home, that's to tell it lonely out there been a Nigerian. This year specifically, l started developing some habits like, going to betting center to keep myself lively by playing games or go to a hang- out joint full of runs-girls and men drinking away their sorrows, all these things don't happenned to me when l was in Nigeria.l no longer fancy any country because of discrimination for been a Nigerian.so,l plead with you all to guide me on choosing a state l can start phone softwares and hardwares repair exclude Lagos(too rowdy).

You didn't make it in Nigeria, reason you traveled out to hustle in Ghana.

On reaching to Ghana, you ended not achieving anything that your happiness now depends on bet9ja house and ashawo quarters, now you want to come back to Nigeria again to start phone repair.

Arhh! This life hard gan!! All I can say is that God is your strength bruv!! But if you must come back to Nigeria, remember that it is very difficult to make it here with bet9ja and Olosho addiction. So do well to discipline yourself!

Concerning the state you wanna settle in, I'll advice you choose Aba or Onitsha, since you don't want Lagos. Aba and Onitsha are strictly for hustling, they don't have any relationship with sharwama, hot dog, Marlian, bumbum challange, Bbnaija or shoperite!

Just hustling, plus they are not costly towns.

But if you must come back to Nigeria, remember that Buhari is still the president.
look it is not about making it either in Nigeria or Ghana,l earned 78k as at 2016 in Nigeria and in Ghana here there no week l can't account for 500ghc weekly, but my challenge is living among your fellow like a stranger for been a Nigerian,These people can wake up in the morning and never greet theirselves either at workplace,as neighbour or in the market, much more like hatred toward themselves unlike Nigeria.Hope you get me.

At bolded what's the big deal in it? It's not like it's all targeted to you alone or to Nigerians like you said you mentioned they do it to themselves, should they do it to themselves what's the big deal in it? Meanwhile are you there for you to be greeted or you there to hussle. Like the White man say "salutation (greeting) is not love", if you doing well there like you allege why then allow trivial thing like greeting or checking up on someone affect you.
Kindly note I'm not against coming back home but not a bad decision but your rationale for coming back to me isn't valid. I'm not saying that there is no racism/nepotism and all there but you haven't mention anything that is concrete as a reason for home coming. If you had said you miss home (singularly) it's more value than the reason.

To all travelers: There are distinct percular features attached to each country like in China it's an insult to tip someone while in America tipping someone is part of their culture as they have glass jar in most eatery for dropping tip(s). As long as these percular feature(s) do not run contrary to the law then I will say if you in Rome then learn to live as a Roman. I wish you success Op in your life endeavour.

In the South West I'll recommend Ibadan or Akure
South South: Asaba, Ughelli, Yenagoa, Uyo.
South East : Onitsha, Enugu, Aba,
Then if you want to be close to the FCT the I will suggest Apo Village, or Suleja.

Yes. You are right. I can feel your plight.

It's not just only because of discrimination.

Generally, Ghanaians don't show affection. They tend to live a secluded life, which is attributed more to their belief and practice of witchcraft; hence you hear them say family this, family that, but when you go closely every one of them is on his/her own just because of this fear.

You will see situations where people don't visit their parents and some who do, don't eat or drink from them. So many bad experiences.
Like we 'ormally visit relatives especially during festive period, eat, drink and even pass 'ights with them, the Ghanians don't easily do such things.
They are so afraid of witchcraft, hence 'ot free with each other.
What baffles me with this their character is that they will 'ot eat or drink from or with you, yet they will 'ot reject your money.

Secondly, because of 'igeria's position in Africa and the potentials of 'igeria' man they see every 'igera' around them as a threat.

A Ghanaian prefer to die with her illiteracy than to learn from a 'igeria''.

Please pardon my typos. Keypad problem.
