Henderson was a key factor in Liverpool's success this season, but I think KDB deserves it better. I'm rooting for him for the PFA award.

I am a liverpool faithful, but no midfielder, none let me reiterate for emphasis, none in the league or the world comes close to KDB. That guy is immaculate.
His passes are visionary, his crosses are deliciously orgasmic, His goals, his set piece prowess, his intelligence and all round play is phenomenal.
It's a pity he has been losing out

i think its an individual award and can't understand how a Henderson with just 4 goals and 5 assist under 2244 mins played should be ahead a perfect de bryne with 11 goals and 19 assist with just 2710 mins played even outscoring some strikers like firninho(9) lacazette (10) etc..
maybe he was given the award to compensate for leading his team to epl glory after 30yrs..
congrats to Henderson but i think de bryne would endup winning the PFA player of the year because he is the best individual player in EPL, miles above the rest on that list..

On his day he's bang average at best but TBH he's contributions to his team's success goes beyond goals and assists.

According to Opta, about 90% of the league games Henderson has played in, Liverpool took maximum points. In the 7 of the 8 games Henderson has missed this season, Liverpool ended up dropping points. His name will be forever etched in Liverpool's folklore, all he needed to do was not slip ala Stevie G.

PS: I feel dirty RN mentioning Liverpool four times in one post, I'm off now for a long cold shower.

There was a year Ryan Giggs won it because they all thought he was retiring that season whereas he played absolutely nothing. He went on to play for another 2/3 years. One or two seasons ago it was Raheem Sterling all because he was vocal in the fight against racism whereas there were other players more deserving considering their contribution on the field of play. Have you even sat to wonder why aguero has never made the PFA team of the year even once not until 2018 when they realized the bias was getting too obvious? Those idiots are corrupt.

Very sentimental. Without a doubt, the best players in the EPL this year are Kevin De Bruyne and Mane. These two men were electric all season.

Like I will always say, those guys are very bias and sentimental. I remember vividly when they gave Ryan Giggs that thing around 2009 or so he was 37 years old and they all thought he was going to retire that season and felt he deserves the award because he never won it all through his career. That particular season he played nothing , j mean absolutely nothing ...Giggs went on to play till 39/40 before he retired in 2014. Na corruption go kill them. It's one thing to merit something it's another thing to deserve it. They only act based on nolstalgia.
