I'm currently on 457 spouse unaccompanied and I've maxed out IELTS. I finally decided yesterday to try TEF because by October I'll lose points for age. I only know basic french but I'm a fast learner.

I plan to write in October, registed in duolingo and some other online french classes. Could you estimate how many points the lowest band (4?) would give me? I'm assuming i should at least be able to get that with 3months of intensive practice.

if you are looking at learning French, I have the contact of a French lecturer/ teacher, he works in Alliance France Lagos and he is TEF trained(which is very important). infact he was my examiner for expression orale when I wrote TEF. he will possibly charge a token and I am sure it would help.
