seunny4lif: Hahaha Thanks man, I'm not even paying €700, I japka when they increased the rent, I currently pay €550, with €50 for bills, I'm yet to pay that tho. You can get a single room for €250 in cork or limerick, but another thing is jobs are fewer there 4 Likes |

You can get a 2 bedroom flat in Dundalk or Drogheda for less than 800 Euros but transportation is the main thing You have to get Matthew or Bus Eire early in the morning to Dublin I have a lot of people during that and its better than staying in Dublin. You can rent a full 3 bedroom flat yourself in Dundalk and rent each room to Students in Dundalk Chiggsglover: 3 Likes |

That week you guys saw me patting a dog, that was a tough week caused by one of my clients, just one baba o, I arrived at his house the fourth day that week and couldn't bring myself to go inside, I just didn't understand why he was so grumpy and was even using the F word not just on me but on other irish workers, if not I change it for him, for him to single me out would have been racism. Straight n short. I listened intently and he never used the N word, hes actually a stroke patient, toughest call, cos he can't speak properly, cant walk without support and cant even feed himself. He threw lots of tantrums, ate very little and never said thanks, because of how anxious he was, he couldn't even communicate properly exactly what he wanted with the very little speech he could dish and some hand gestures. This caused lots of misunderstanding and he wept, cussed, growled and told us to Bleep off repeatedly. I was between two crushing forces, if I choose to be indifferent and ignore him, that will kill the sensitivity I'm supposed to have to my clients, if I was to accept that and try to pacify, they would get to me and bring out the worst in me. I started to feel bad, really bad, I thought I have been really bad at my job and that's why he was doing all of that, I called his daughter, cos I was about to japka o, I do get a lot of money from his calls, I just can't permit him to bring out the worst in me, she came and when I told her he told me to Bleep off repeatedly, her eyes opened, she challenged her father, this man told told me and her to Bleep out the apartment, she told me to leave, through the window, I saw her other side, the baba too was screaming and cussing.... next time I visited the apartment, he was as MEEK as a lamb, ill ask her what she did, I was amazed, the relationship between me and the old man has improved, says thanks that I get tired of saying, You're welcome. He apologized and forgives my little mistakes with a smile, this is someone that only smiled at the guy that I call his son. It was later I got to discover that his son was on leave.....wheeewwww, I knew this guy has been with this client for three years, it was when he came back and he told me that he knew the client for about 30years. I call him his son cos he's been with him for a long time and has no difficulty deciphering his mumblings 13 Likes |

You don't need a car because its around 70 Euros weekly ticket. Many Students are staying in Drogheda or Dundalk and coming to Dublin everyday You have Student leap card which you can use for 2 years Surviving in Europe esp Ireland require studying your area. Dublin is good for jobs but its expensive same like Lagos Dundalk to Dublin by Matthew Bus is just an 1 hour while Ikotun to Isolo is over 2 hours inside Lagos ooooh Chiggsglover: 8 Likes 1 Share |

Helo chiggsglover, pls i have some questions. I applied to university of limerick for an Msc in infection prevention and control. (Part time course) On the website it says first semester will be taught online because of the corona virus. Which is approximately 6months, until January. Does it mean, let say everything goes back to normal and airports begin operation around October, will i have to wait till January before i come to Ireland? 1 Like 1 Share |

I followed this thread back to back... I'll love to ask some series of questions If one could make above 1m - 2m monthly in Nigeria,is it still adviceable to travel down to Ireland.? (Working has a cypto trader/trading of digital asset) Just graduated from school, yet to go on Nysc self what's the best way to travel down there.? except using student visa (honestly,I don't think I can study for long again) and I constantly hate ngn Police disturbance, I feel if I'm far away from home I'll be able to work better and smarter & help my incoming generation.. Is there a better way to relocate down to Ireland without using the student visa excuses most young people uses.? 3 Likes |
