Two former vice-mayors were executed yesterday for corruption, as Beijing shows it is being tough on graft - which Communisty Party General Secretary Hu Jintao has called one of the four dangers facing the party.

The two former officials, from the scenic and booming eastern cities of Hangzhou and Suzhou took more than 250 million yuan (HK$321.4 million) between them in bribes from real estate developers in exchange for helping them acquire land and related preferential policies, the Supreme People's Court said.

The criminals were both government leaders in charge of urban construction work, and their major crimes were related to land use and construction.'

As far as China is concerned you can do your corruption outside the homeland such as selling substandard products, poorly executing projects and contracts and bring the money home.

Let's not allow our hatred for Nigerian politicians cloud our judgement, a Government that executes politicians for corruption is not stable.. trust me.. as much as it is made to seem like it's a rule set in stone and no one is exempted, there will be certain people in power who can easily subvert this law for nefarious purposes like eliminating political rivals and what not.

The United States has so many Isis and Al -Qaeda tourists captured who have killed thousands, these folks deserve straight up death if you ask me. But the US is a country that at least tries to hold true to liberality and fairness for all , this is more than I can say for the likes of China and Russia
