I paid mine 4 years for a Bsc in nursing which cost around 117,000 plus using AIICO. THE 30K you paid for is for a month or how many months, thought they said it must cover all the lengths of stay and as for bsc in nursing, it's four years. So they calculated the four years 117,000. Have I miss anything here?

Good day my people, I have error on my WAEC cert. the error is on Name and DOB.
Instead of olayinka I have Yinka
Instead of 20/04/1985 I have 21/04/82. I tried correcting this but I was told Waec don’t issue certificate twice, I got a letter of correction from my secondary school signed and stamp with swear affidavit from court.

The problem is Wes said they will only acknowledge what comes from Waec even if I send the correction letter and affidavit that it doesn’t matter and Waec said they will send only my certificate with the said errors. And they can’t issue certificate twice even if I want to correct the error a woman there told me it’s not accepted anymore since last year

Please my people I need help on this how can I go about this can I do another WAEC or GCE I feel it won’t be accepted because it’s recent unlike the other one .

Your help and advice will be appreciated

If such perist, use Neco or write another exam except if you are applying to a school that understand your concern,I don't think you will have any problem with it. Else write another WAEC or NECO.

Thank u so much for your response, actually it’s accepted in Europe I submit it with the swear affidavit and correction letter from the school. But I’m trying to apply to US that’s where WES comes in. Now my question if I have to write another WAEC hope it won’t be a problem if the result being recent from my BSc and the question of what about the one used will applying BSc comes up from Wes or the school I will be applying to

Please i need an answer. Is it true that once someone is above 30years of age and apply for B.Sc program after he or she has gotten first degree that is very difficult for the Lithuania embassy to issue him or her a visa even as he or she have paid all the fees just because of the age? Do anyone here know anybody that might have experience such? Because applied for B.Sc program and already had my first degree. I applied for this because it has been my dream course. Update please.

Pls respond to my question if you’ve gone through SKVC evaluation.

I’m applying for Masters and my school requires me to do the evaluation by SKVC.

Since its Masters, do I need to also upload WAEC/NECO. Also how can the scratch cards be sent to them, through post?

Thats very true, it was God that helped me too because when i got there yesterday i was told they had a backlog of 20persons already from last month and that the embassy has instructed them to take 20 applications per month, thats means 20 from vsf Lagos and vsf abuja making it 40 from Nigeria per month. So we were asked to maybe try abuja if we were desperate to submit this month as Abuja usually have limited applications, while i still waited pleading and praying for God to make a way, they happened to attend to more than 10 persons successfully from the backlog of pple from last month others were sent back for some issues with their documents while the rest didnt show up .. As God will have it they decided to allow us present to complete the 20 applications for this month.

I want to ask, must one be called for interview before been given visa? Because one of workers at vsf the guy that did my biometrics he said interview is not an assurance of been given visa and one can still get visa without been called for interview that an interview could be if they want more clarification about some of your documents. How true is this?

Finally made my submission, does anyone know how long the process for the D visa might take ? Any ideas Chris ? Do you envisage we’d get feedback before September ?? Are interviews a compulsory step in the process to obtaining the visa ?

Please did you do bvn?
Re: Lithuania Student Visa by NkemJesus: 4:11pm On Aug 05, 2020
I was at vfs today, they said anyone willing to submit should wait till September that August submission have past after today. But refused submission for my own benefit that my passport validity is 14months, that instruction from the embassy for anyone applying for long-term visa should have at least 18 months passport validity anything less than that is NO. All my document have been checked and very ok for submission the woman said if she accept it and because of that issues happens how will I fill? so I reason along with her. Pls check ur passport if validity is less than 18months pls go and get a new passport. And for those submitting wait till next month first week.

Great to see all the posts here. Interesting. Lithuania is an interesting place. You can either love it or hate it, depending on many simple, but key factors.

Having lived and worked in Lithuania for over 10 years as university professor, I can help provide useful and insider details for prospective students. More so I know many in the international office of the universities here.
I was once an international student in 4 different countries, so I can to a reasonable extent say that I can relate to aspirations of prospective students.

Please feel free to ask questions here
Cheers!

There aren't that many jobs in Lithuania and the wages are low by European standards. Infact it has one of the highest emigration rates in Europe and they are more people leaving the country than coming in, a trend that is likely to continue. The plus side is its low and affordable cost of living and relatively low tuition fees, which makes it ideal for students. It is also in the EU and Schengen zone which gives one the opportunity to explore career options in other countries after studies.

But don't think you'll get a job there especially as a foreigner. Study and leave, or explore options in other countries. As regards part time work while studying this will only be possible after one has gotten their TRP ( Temporary Resident Permit) which might not even be issued until your second year. So it's imperative to go with enough funds to cover both your tuition, accommodation and living expenses for atleast a year
