Hahaha, all is here o, I just carry my clothes, shoes and personal effects.
Kitchen always comes fully loaded and even the rooms also, I'll post a picture later.
The plates, spoon, pots, pan, and those sorts are hidden away in the drawers.
Appliances that every house MUST have is iron, microwave, washing machine, dryer, dish washer, vacuum cleaner, I never see broom here o, cooker with a functioning oven, oven is so convenient for meat n chips...yummy, heating whether gas or electric, toaster, sometimes a blender. Microwave is so useful here, they even use it to cook rice, first time I saw it my jaws dropped, HOUSES MUST HAVE WIFI ROUTER, quote me anywhere, if they don't have, tell them Chiggs says you must provide one, it's fucking compulsory people,
I use at least 50gig a day, the movie I just consumed was 10 gig, there was no negotiating...last price o, if I watched 5, you see na.
Plus I play games online, watch aljazeera, CNN, BBC, CGTN, everyday, and chill with a bottle of Rose with YouTube. Gosh.

It's normal for the landlord to provide toiletries and cleaning stuffs, some can be too busy for that and will tell us to buy and bring the receipt, we can deduct it from the next rent. But me as a sharp guy, I no fit gamble am, if I lost the receipt ko, hahaha,
Wow nice Omo see as everywhere neat

Well, that's a clearer picture of the picture in the boohoo ad, I hope seun.... can be able to guess where I took the shot.

Theres something really interesting here, it's really fun to see. I would have taken shots of it in the street but I felt it will be very rude. Just imagine if I'm caught.
They say it's not cheating if you're not caught in the act. They didnt caught me, lol

There's this trend I see among elderly folks here, they walk about with this thing they push around, a local person will call this wheelbarrow, lol.
It's like an upgraded version of a walking aid for those with arthritis, it's a lot common for older women.
For men, he has to be so old and bent before they use it or when they have a physical problem.

This is very utilitarian and functional than for aesthetic reason, the men go about with their walking cane and are judged by the society. The aesthetic and beautiful walking cane is fast loosing ground. Even those who use it feel shamed.

In a place like Nigeria, once you sleep and see the walking cane or stick, it's to embark on thirty days Dry fasting n prayers.

The walking aid these women use has wheels at the base, so you just push it, a lot of them come with a small platform with little foam so you can sit on it when you're tired. You can can hang your handbag on it.

Most of these elderly people live alone, so go, buy transport their shopping home themselves. Remember that in this country, everyone is equal. You can't just get a house boy, you'll need to pay at least €15,000 to him a year. Convert that to naira and your head will correct. The minimum age here is working.
It's like a bicycle, only your leg is pushing it, it has a break system so the old mama does not ride it down downhill in top speed, hahaha.
If there's no break, 1000 ways to die will rush and add it to their list.

So they have another type of walking aid with a gap for storing things, they'll be able to push their groceries home simply with it. See how life is. Instead of focusing on Maids and security and paying heavily while in our case, we pay them peanuts, they rather spend money on robots and technology to aid humans in their weaker days.

Thanks man, I'm not even paying €700,
I japka when they increased the rent, I currently pay €550, with €50 for bills, I'm yet to pay that tho.

You can get a single room for €250 in cork or limerick, but another thing is jobs are fewer there

You can get a 2 bedroom flat in Dundalk or Drogheda for less than 800 Euros but transportation is the main thing
You have to get Matthew or Bus Eire early in the morning to Dublin
I have a lot of people during that and its better than staying in Dublin.
You can rent a full 3 bedroom flat yourself in Dundalk and rent each room to Students in Dundalk

That week you guys saw me patting a dog, that was a tough week caused by one of my clients, just one baba o,
I arrived at his house the fourth day that week and couldn't bring myself to go inside, I just didn't understand why he was so grumpy and was even using the F word not just on me but on other irish workers, if not I change it for him, for him to single me out would have been racism. Straight n short.
I listened intently and he never used the N word, hes actually a stroke patient, toughest call, cos he can't speak properly, cant walk without support and cant even feed himself. He threw lots of tantrums, ate very little and never said thanks, because of how anxious he was, he couldn't even communicate properly exactly what he wanted with the very little speech he could dish and some hand gestures. This caused lots of misunderstanding and he wept, cussed, growled and told us to Bleep off repeatedly.
I was between two crushing forces, if I choose to be indifferent and ignore him, that will kill the sensitivity I'm supposed to have to my clients, if I was to accept that and try to pacify, they would get to me and bring out the worst in me.

I started to feel bad, really bad, I thought I have been really bad at my job and that's why he was doing all of that,

I called his daughter, cos I was about to japka o, I do get a lot of money from his calls, I just can't permit him to bring out the worst in me, she came and when I told her he told me to Bleep off repeatedly, her eyes opened, she challenged her father, this man told told me and her to Bleep out the apartment, she told me to leave, through the window, I saw her other side, the baba too was screaming and cussing.... next time I visited the apartment, he was as MEEK as a lamb, ill ask her what she did, I was amazed, the relationship between me and the old man has improved, says thanks that I get tired of saying, You're welcome. He apologized and forgives my little mistakes with a smile, this is someone that only smiled at the guy that I call his son.

It was later I got to discover that his son was on leave.....wheeewwww, I knew this guy has been with this client for three years, it was when he came back and he told me that he knew the client for about 30years.
I call him his son cos he's been with him for a long time and has no difficulty deciphering his mumblings

You don't need a car because its around 70 Euros weekly ticket.
Many Students are staying in Drogheda or Dundalk and coming to Dublin everyday
You have Student leap card which you can use for 2 years
Surviving in Europe esp Ireland require studying your area.
Dublin is good for jobs but its expensive same like Lagos
Dundalk to Dublin by Matthew Bus is just an 1 hour while Ikotun to Isolo is over 2 hours inside Lagos ooooh

Helo chiggsglover, pls i have some questions.
I applied to university of limerick for an Msc in infection prevention and control. (Part time course)

On the website it says first semester will be taught online because of the corona virus. Which is approximately 6months, until January.

Does it mean, let say everything goes back to normal and airports begin operation around October, will i have to wait till January before i come to Ireland?

I don't think part time program is acceptable for Irish study visa from Nigeria. I am not sure about this but let the experts respond

I followed this thread back to back...
I'll love to ask some series of questions

If one could make above 1m - 2m monthly in Nigeria,is it still adviceable to travel down to Ireland.? (Working has a cypto trader/trading of digital asset)

Just graduated from school, yet to go on Nysc self what's the best way to travel down there.?
except using student visa (honestly,I don't think I can study for long again) and I constantly hate ngn Police disturbance, I feel if I'm far away from home I'll be able to work better and smarter & help my incoming generation..

Is there a better way to relocate down to Ireland without using the student visa excuses most young people uses.?
