I dont see any reason inviting obla to this investigation. The issue of all allegations level against magu does not surface at all. Reading through the lines, the lawyer bribe his way to win the case. You paid 5m unknowingly that the judge also have interest on said building.this is a typical lie. Ago salami should not let malami use him to nail magu.He should be very careful in handling this matter.magu is not a saint but the allegation were fake.Another case there is the 75m for winning a case, the money is too much.

How stupid u people think. So you foolishly think the money is too much now and u never thought It was an agreement before the lawyer accepted to handle the case?

If I wish to charge you 1billion to win your case and after winning u then realise it too much? Oga fear God

As far as l am concerned. Magu has not done anything wrong, I have been reading many frivolous allegations against the man. I can only see power play of highest order. SAN bought bulding materials worth N5m in judge company? What a wicked coincidence!!!

All those talking rubbish, na only you don make sense, magu is clean, how can you catch someone you say is a thief, and then start begging for evidence, magu is just a victim of power play, quite unfortunate that this is how he is being rewarded for his vigor in the fight against corruption

Like many other lawyers & SANs, these are the lawyers that corrupt the legal system by bribing judges.
Imagine him claiming to buy goods of N5m from the company that belongs to a judge handling his case!! You can never win against them because they wine & dine with all the judges of the major court establishments in Nigeria.
They are the ones that negotiate "Plea Bargains", when a public servant steals N1bn & they will ask him to plead guilty & pay N50m to government & go free.

Why didn't he make all these allegations when he was under fire by Magu.

Magu is no angel, but this SAN is just a disgrace trying to save his bad name.
he has no reason to bribe any judge.

I no know Magu o!

But this lawyer is guilty.

Na so all of una dey for that judiciary. See Justice Dimgba own. His former classmate brought a contract from NDDC but he didn't know how it was executed...shior.

Lawyers (prosecution n defence) n judges work hand in hand to defraud government.

Is Magu not a Nigerian Police Officer?
Was the foundation of the EFCC not laid by the Nigerian Police Force?
So why do we expect any better from someone coming from an already ill-competent and integrity-compromised force like the NPF.
All of them na thieves. even the man saying they are owing him millions....How come the Justice Ajumogobia just developed interest in his company.
The truth remains that he is not entirely clean. Liars and thieves in all sectors

Another lawyer undergoing corruption trial? shocked. Next, the discredited NBA president will also be called to testify against Magu.

Like I said yesterday, this is turning to a huge joke. Malami is using corrupt and discredited lawyers who are under prosecution for corruption to testify against Magu. What do you expect from such people? Las las, all of us go they alright. Let’s all continue with the show of shame.

Malami and his gang will line up everyone and anyone to make Magu sink deeper.

The thing is, Salami's panel isn't a court and can only make recommendations.

Take Magu to court already and spare us this drama.

In the US it's called a pre-trial hearing to determine if a crime was committed . In the Police it is known as an orderly trial.

The Panel is not seeking a conviction but rather a probe of Magu's nefarious dealings from where he will be recommended for trial.

How can the state prosecution pay a Judge a bribe to secure a conviction?

Magu is truly a madman .

“At that material time of this commercial transaction and till date, I had no prior knowledge that Justice Ajumogobia had any interest whatsoever in the company.”

Mr man,the above is one of the ways they do it in naija,of all the building material firms in deidei, alaba ,Nigeria etc,why must it be a building material firm the judge as a stake in that you would pay 5 million to for building materials?
And as a judge does public service act even allow her to have private businesses asides agriculture/farming?

I feel there's no need for the media trial at all.

They should spare us the details of the 'pre-trial' which I feel it's a charade.

They shd get their acts together and take this man to court for possible conviction.

They are gathering evidence and witnesses to base their final conclusion.

Normally, the lame duck Senate is supposed to carry out their own probe on Magu and also pass relevant laws and ammendnents on the EFCC act and mandate to forestall a repeat of this embarrassment called Magu.

So u know who has interest in all the companies u deal with? So if a lawyer handling Orji Kalu or Tinubu advertises with Sun Newspaper Ltd or TVC... so does it mean that he’s trying to buy favor from them?

Do you expect him to agree that
he bribed a judge?

His bank transactions were secretly
investigated before the damning
evidence was presented to him

The judge in question was notorious
for bribe taking
