Bolowolowo:What about if he goes to Rangers, he becomes their undisputed top 9 and he ends up scoring 20+ goals or even ends up as Scottish league top scorer, while also doing well in Europa league... Won't his move to rangers be termed a good move and from Rangers to goes up to a bigger club in the top 5 leagues? Don't forget Rangers scores goals aplenty and Maja is good at scoring also. |

Make I derail small So cr7 has won 2 seria A in just 2 years but could only win 2 laliga in 9 season We can all see the one under the shadow of Messi ![]() Now my guy Dey hustle for highest goal scorer ![]() He could not outscore 36 year old quagliarella last season and it seems he won’t do so to immobile this season ![]() So cr7 left Messi shadow to go and stay under the shadow of quagliarella and immobile Impressive ![]() Cr7 aka Mr new challenge ,penaldo, tapnaldo ![]() |

Barryseal:Not really, the Algerian midfielders were too technical for him. Algeria has many technically gifted midfielders in the xavi, okocha, kanu range and if you are just average you will be caught out if you play against such a midfield. We dont have players like that. Iwobi is trying but he is not okocha or zidane. He tried his best but men those Algerian midfielders were too technical and creative for him. Ismael Benacer is better than Iwobi. Iwobi is good but put him up against a world class play maker and his limitations will show |

feelme2020:Your points are valid. I think Rohr set the team up to attack from the wings using Chukwueze and Musa as the outlets thereby sacrificing creativity from the middle. The idea would have been great if we had serious upgrade on our full back options. This is exactly how Liverpool set up, with highly productive full backs and dogs of war in midfield who snatch at every loose ball. Funny enough Ismael Benacer and Gnabry were sent on loan and sold in place of Iwobi. This is one of the fall outs when old age and dementia set in with the big Weng. |

“All we need for our national team are the best players, it doesn’t matter where they play football is a global sports. The fact that you play in the UK as long as you’re good enough and you fit the thinking of the coach you know his style of play, you fit in with in the camp, then you’re entitled to it. Every player should just work hard and focus on league." --Seyi Akinwunmi (1st VP NFF) BRILA |

If Osayi Samuel wants to get a look in from the handlers of the senior national team, he would have to snub that move to Brugge and try to secure a move to the EPL. We have better wingers in better leagues already, to consider his kind of player in the Jupiler league.

ChrisKels:I think nigerian clubs should recruit football academy players. Not all of them wil go to Europe immediately. They can play with enyimba for a few years. I think part of the problem is most Nigerian clubs do not do any talent scouting. They just recycle old and tired players |

Philosopher1979:No serious academy product will think through this line, NPFL dents image of young players since the only players who go to the NPFL from the academies are those considered not good enough to take their trades to Europe. |

Philosopher1979:How do you define extreme ❓ ❓ England looked at France and noticed that France was ahead of them. They also noticed that English players are technically zero. They decided to address the problem and create a new breed of players. One that is technically astute enough to play in any top league in the World. In addition they realised that the marriage of athleticism with technical ability was essential. It all started in the top EPL football academies primarily. Wenger said it's very hard to teach a player to become technically advance and astute once he exceeds 12/13. So the core development group for skills set is in the age groups 9-12 first phase, the 13-16 is the second major phase of development. For instance, Liverpool brought in Burrell from Spain to head up the academy. He is now at Manchester city after leaving Liverpool in disgrace for corruption. Beale who is now Gerard assistant managers was appointed to head the Liverpool fc academy first phase development. He was the former assistance manager at São Piano in Brazil. So that should tell you about the emphasis on technicality. The new academy head Alex noticed something in Liverpool. Racial bias, he had come from Tottenham and knows. When you marry athleticism with technical ability it's a winning combination. In this regard l would say Chelsea is ahead I'm terms of quality players produced. If you look at the young players in England that are making waves you will not find carpenters anymore. The other thing they have established dribbling, Skills, technical superiority must have end product. Something we in the African sense are yet to appreciate completely. This is why some of our U17 players struggle on arrival in Europe. Athletically very good but technically poor. And spend a lot of time in the Academies getting up to scratch. As a consequence the conveyor belt of quality talent coming out of Europe with African heritage players at the forefront. Will make it difficult for African players direct from a lot of African countries to compete. Look at Mason Mount, Maddison, Phil Foden, Grealish, then our Africa heritage players Zaha, Ruben Loftus, Rashford, Tega, Gomez, etc, etc. |

Did you know Kenneth Omeruo was our best player in AFCON 2019 based on SofaScore Ratings. He made the BestXI (SofaScore) of the tournament, and in all 6 games he was involved in, he was our highest rated player in 3 of them (VS Guinea, Algeria & Tunisia)
