There's this new herbicide by Meyers, Lagon 575. I learnt it's very effective preemergence that can control weeds in corn and cassava. According to Crest Agro, you may need to apply to a cassava farm just only once till harvest.

Ameboperoo:Meyers products are usually smaller (in size and volume)but powerful. How much is this 250ml? |

They said it's 5k but you will use just 2-4 bottles per hectare. .5 to 1 liter/ htr. And you may not have to reapply till the cassava canopies. |

Ameboperoo:The dosage on the label is specific, 2 bottles (max) per hectare. There products are very potent. It is not post emergent that you apply on thick vegetation. If you use more than 2bottles, it may have adverse effect on your crops. It's to be applied on newly cultivated land with very tender or no weeds. |
