Bro. I wan ask you a question jare , Is the annual leave a must for everyone working in UAE. And perhaps, if it is, what's the terms of the leave, perhaps , one intends to travel to his home currently for an occasion on the annual leave. And how many days is it, who covers the expenses, flight and is salary also paid aswell. Thanks.

Will answer the ones I know.
Annual leave depends on your contract (limited or unlimited).
Some organizations offer ticket, while some will find a way to rag you around it.
It’s not mandatory for you to travel to your home during an annual leave, but you’ll still be paid your basic salary for that month (not including allowances).
Let me break it down a bit;
Basic salary: 3600AED
accommodation allowance: 1400 AED
Transport allowance: 1000 AED
Total salary =6000AED.
During your leave, you’ll only be paid your basic salary, in this case scenario is: 3600 AED, for the month you were on leave.

Hello,

You are entitled to annual leave as an employee, days vary depending on your contract. You should be able to travel wherever you want to during your leave. From personal experience, employees are given air fare annually or biannually (depending on what it says on your contract) in the month of anniversary you joined the company. The amount is usually more than what you spend on a return ticket to Nigeria so its left to you what you want to use the money for and if you want to travel or not. But some companies will buy ticket for you instead of giving you the money. Salary is paid during annual leave.

Your contract is usually a good point of reference for this sort of information.

UAE didn’t banned Nigeria, the information you got must have been coming from the minister of aviation in Nigeria. He might have made an error when he tweeted that. But the truth is that Nigeria is not banned from the UAE, we are only waiting for the international airspace to reopen that’s all.

Tourists on visit visas have about 13 more days to leave the country, renew their visas or face overstay fines counting from July 12. First day fine is 300aed, subsequent days are 100aed per day.

The validity of visas and entry permits that was extended until the end of December this year has been cancelled. Identity cards that expired on March 1, which were previously considered valid until the end of the year, will now be deemed invalid.

If you are in the country, you have three months to renew your document. Residents and GCC citizens who spent less than six months outside the country will also be given one month for renewal.

Someone just liked this my post so I need to update it here and there for accuracy.

If you are in the country, you have one month to renew your document. Residents and GCC citizens who spent less than six months outside the country will also be given one month for renewal.

One month that expires on August 10. You need to be out of the country or renew your visa to avoid over 3000aed overstay fine and counting.

Visa Change is a convenient visa provision wherein the existing Dubai visa holders are able to change the visa and lengthen their stay in the UAE by obtaining a new 30 days or 90 days visa.

Your unused visa has been cancelled. You need to apply for fresh one if you still want to come but the situation of things in UAE for Nigerians are terrible for now. Only very few with job are lucky. No job, no visa change; how do you want to survive? Don't let your agent deceive you into coming to UAE for now. Thousands of Nigerians are already in limbo on what to do. Some are already back in Nigeria while others are most likely going to run into OVERSTAYED VISA with extremely high fines calculated on daily basis.

It is better for you to chanel your resources to Europe or Canada. It takes time, energy, patience and money but with right information you can achieve it.

My one piece of advice.

Updates about Issuance of Visas to Nigerians.

The UAE Government is no longer joking about Issuance of Visas to Nigerians, as all forms of Visas; Tourist, Work Permit, Visa Change and Residents Permit are temporarily suspended. This could be as a result of so many crimes committed by Nigerians here ranging from prostitution, fighting, fraud, alcohol drinking, abortion, cultism, murder among others. The cases keep increasing by the day and yet few bad elements would not change their ways. We initially thought that non-issuance of tourist visas was only due to closure of Nigeria's international airspace but daily updates keep showing more than we thought. Issuance of work permit, resident permit and visa change when you are inside UAE were very easy before but the story is different now to NIGERIAN passport holders; while other countries are getting theirs done easily. For UAE government to re-open visas to Nigerians, stricter measures which might be unbearable would be metted out to her passport holders.

I must confess that few bad Nigerians have put the rest in crises. This makes the Western world to see Nigerians as criminals even before committing any. How painful and terrible!

If you are still in Nigeria and have the intention of traveling abroad, please try Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, UK and other European countries which are coming up with immigration or study programs. It would take time, patience, resources, money and right information but far better than coming to UAE.

I wish you all the best.

Nigerians in diaspora don spoil show.....
I've said it before, Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria.
They keep doing Nonsense anywhere they find themselves, as if they are the only one that needed this money.

Funny you, those countries you mentioned, you think they are smiling too?

If it is not serious UAE government won't stop issuance of visas to Nigerians in the meantime. Nigerian criminal activities keep increasing, so many cases, many in prison, yet our people won't obey the law. This does not mean that we don't have other nationalities committing crimes but that of Nigerians is alarming everyday.

They will eventually issue visas to Nigerians in coming weeks but with STRICT measures.

More to come...

If you meet immigration or study programs' requirements, you are fine. Just do your research and meet all their requirements, they will give you visa. Don't use forged documents because they will investigate all your papers and ensure thorough process before issuance of visa. They need immigrants to grow their economies.

Take care.
