I wonder how this Repentant Boko Haram Members will feel if they read the kind of comments I see on this Platform.

Firstly, what gives any of us the right to Judge them?
Are we any better than them?
Most of them were taken away from their parent, when they knew nothing about life, trained and taught to fight and Kill.
They may had been told that it was for a just course, and that they were doing the right thing.
Do you know that if you teach a child something wrong for a long time, it could stay for as long as possible?

What if they had tried to escape that life, ad could not?
What if they had questioned their actions and were threatened?
What if they were forced to do something they couldn't have done?

Now.. this ones have finally gotten the chance for a better life, and we still doubt their Repentance.
Everyone reading this, God truly forgive sins. You may had done a lot of terrible things in time past, God can still Forgive.

It's not in our place to decide who sincerely repented and who didn't. According to them, they won't go back to Boko Haram.

You guys should stop judging and condemning this people as though you are better or perfect.
Leave them to their Conscience!
If you think they don't have Conscience, then Leave them to God.
You simply don't have sense

This is serious. The question remains if it is right to give former figher amnesty.

But then, someone reminded me that the one of the thieves on the cross was forgiven by Jesus and promised paradise.

To err is human, to forgive Divine.
Forgiveness is for God, that's why we should send them to him

Science, technology, and advancement in human development cannot solve all man's problems. Instead of solving all the problems they create many more problems in the process. BUT JESUS CAN SOLVE ALL OUR PROBLEMS!!! Let us go back to Him and He will wipe away our tears; He will fill the void in your life that no one else can. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jesus awaits you! He sends a direct message to you today, saying - "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Do not be discouraged by the recent threat to our world, namely Corona virus. That one shall also pass away! Let us go back and put all our trust in Christ Jesus, who is more than able to safeguard us in this world and in the world to come. He guarantee's love, peace, and happiness in this world and also after our departure from this world, for there is now no condemnation to them that are in Christ JESUS.
JESUS GIVES ETERNAL LIFE TO HIS FOLLOWERS!!! Who then do you follow in this world ... money, fame, wealth, power, or some other persons, etc. These things also shall pass away and do not guarantee happiness, peace, ... eternal life. Repent from your ways and come back to Jesus today. He will keep you safe always.
As Jesus calls today, harden not your heart! God bless you.
Mention one problem your religion has solved

In the same spirit of forgiveness which you just referenced, dont you think it will save your hypocritical face if they also forgive those in prison that didnt commit murder?

The fact that some of them are innocent of the crimes they were jailed for, won this government avalanche of medals for hypocrisy.

Ooh Sir.. Oga Sense. You
have it plenty.

Yet you couldn't counter a post logically.

So what do you expect the Government to do?

Perhaps the Government should take them to Mami market and slaughter them like Ram. Since you don't believe they have repented.

Or maybe you should do that yourself. Go and kill them all,
Mr. Sense. The perfect one who had never committed any Sin.

I'm just saying, if they go back to their old ways, Let God be their Judge.
You aren't perfect enough to Judge them, besides, how may times have you gone back to an old habit you promised yourself not to?

Are you saying the Government should kill them because of their atrocities?
What about you, for all the wrong you've done?

If the Government decides to Give guns to those family members, with an order, Kill them all!

Someone somewhere will still complain.

I live in Southern Kaduna Sir.. we fear the night, the day and even the sight of Fulanis...

But we know the True enemy is not the one who holds the Gun, he too is a victim.
The True enemy sits in the Dark, controlling the darkness of the world.

That's why even of those family members take revenge, they still won't have peace of mind. Because they only allowed themselves to be controlled by the True Enemy.

The problem with our world is that we always see the physical, and never open our eyes to the spiritual.

Do you think is normal for someone to take someone's life?
When you're angry, how do you feel?

Haven't you done something that made you wonder in awe, asking yourself, did I just do that?

I don't intend to sound as though I'm defending those repentant terrorist, or siding with terrorism.

I just want you to know that we aren't perfect enough to judge them

No wonder why BH leadership are dragging who will be in command. The higher your post and the more people you kill, the better your reward from Nigerian govt will be. This is painful. I was even imagining that the rehabilitated ones were BH errand boys, not knowing that they are entrenched killers. How will this one that has tasted and fed with human blood not become tasty again?

Time will tell.

That doesn't justify why they were given amnesty. No need to bring emotions to something like this

As far as they took someone's life, the law demands that their lives be stolen from them.

Ok. Great Quote.

Does this philosophy applies, when he willfully decides to stop killing and plead for forgiveness?

Be mindful of what you say cos tommorow it might be you who needs forgiveness.

What if it's a very known and wanted kingpin who decides to surrender and ask for forgiveness. Do you expect the government to do "forgive and forget"?

If so, nobody is suppose to be in prison or sentenced to death as far as he/she pleads for forgiveness

What do you mean? The topic is somebody who doesn't remember how many people he's killed bah? I just gave examples of others who don't remember (or even care to know) the Nigerians they too have killed. Why should we make noise about this one, when some of his (alleged) sponsors just got Lexus and Toyota SUVs as allowance?

Sometimes, like Fela used to teach us, we have to look past the distracting commotion in front of us, and pay attention instead to the silence in the background, for that is where you'll find the real criminals.
