“The Ara team that went to Oyo rejoiced till they entered their town but they had neglected the dog that killed the Okete and the dog was sitting behind them and kept looking at them for their ungrateful act. The people started chasing the dog, and the dog was rescued by a farmer with his wife but they insisted to kill the dog but the dog suddenly transformed to a stoneInnocent Dog Evil people! but the dog suddenly transformed to a stone. We serve this stone till date.Same innocent dog is now their master. God be praised. |

Brandonx:An innocent dog helped a certain people, instead of being grateful, they betrayed the innocent dog and conspire to slaughter the dog. But, God in his infinite mercy, turned the innocent dog to a stone. That's how they started serving the dog. You're welcome . |

Kriss216:Thank you. But dogs were meant to eat bones or was the dog expecting a royal apparel because it killed a bush rat? They should not worship the stone because the dog rebelled against it's master. |

Brandonx:It killed a bush rat that set them free. That dog deserved highest recognition, though it's getting it now, they're worshipping it now. |

While this may be a "myth," it is absurd for anyone to discard it... Usually, it is the ignorant that discard stuff like this in the name of "being enlightened." |
