There is a wise saying that foolishness starts with brainless thinking. And don't judge a book by its cover. If I had believed everything people said here on naira land I swear I won't have gotten the opportunity I have today. Now I believed what buhari said that Nigeria youth are lazy and lose focus to see the opportunity of the 21st century. About 2month ago I got a message after LOCKDOWN about a job invite with elyte entrepreneurs, since my employer at my former working place sacked me after 5years of working with 55000 naira and doing three job position. Sincerely I didn't wanna go cos I saw lots of things on Nairaland both good and bad. But I summon courage to go to see if what people said was true. I got there, interview was smooth which lasted for about 3hrs. Second day i got a msg that I have been selected for Day1 training. In my mind I said so soon. I told myself I will go. Truthfully I got discouraged but I went. I met young speakers who I can call my jnr ones with energy talking to change life and change people's mindset. In my mind I was like God, you are marvelous cos I didn't learn so much which I learnt today from my previous job which at the end I was sacked. I met with the DMD, after she spoke I cried silently because people are doing great things. The material money got me thinking when we were told to pay cos the money on me I was managing. I told them I don't have that can I pay next time. I was told to commit so that the organization can help get it quickly then once I come I will pay. I dropped 200 naira and left. I came back on Nairaland and read a lot and I was baffled that could it be true they are scammers, I told a friend and he said he pity me and all stuff. I got another msg for my Day 2 training I went and paid my complete money 4800 and I met with their MD. This man spoke a lot and am like if someone can sweat for another person success why is it that people are condemning them like this. I got my certification that day and training pack. I was told I will join businesses to grow which I will franchise. I said I wasn't interested and left 3 days after the senairo I was in deep thought and I realized a lot cos after all I heard from the speakers my thinking changed. In all essence, I don't know why people tend to downgrade people. We youth should sit ourselves down and think. You are shouting job, job, job... I want to work in a big company. Remember Someone established these so company you want to work for. You enter this company, and you are placed on a target and you get penny, IS THAT NOT A SCAM. Why can't I struggle for this same target and work it in my business. I work for years with no Increase in pay and with extra job positions, IS THAT NOT A SCAM. I went for Ubong King Thinkation January 25th I paid 5000 naira, for t-shirt, certificate and lot more. Till date I haven't seen certificate non t-shirt cos I was told it has finish. IS THAT NOT A SCAM. I see lot of Nigerian youth having poor mentality and that is why other countries are growing well than ours and all we do is to blame government. The only difference between your country Nigeria and other country is that all citizen have a sense of responsibility and entrepreneurs mindset. We all are so dumb, it's time we start getting to work cos this so call jobs you are running after in the next 20years will you still work there or will your children inherit the jobs. In all why people call Elyte scammers is because 1. They asked you to pay for material 5000naira. 2. Come and join business alongside to get you trained. 3. Job interview Let tackle this. The 5000 naira you paid, didn't you collect the materials plus certification.. Yes you did. Did they force you to pay.. No The business you were told to join, were you force to join the business. No.... But if you join will you gain.. Yes Job interview... Was it not stated that its an entrepreneur job position. Was it not stated. Yes it was. You choose to come cos you thought it goes with what you what. From Day1 you came everything they said was on entrepreneurship and nothing more. So why the shout, why the criticism, why the downgrade. If you are interested you come if not you don't... The doors are always opened and not closed. Elyte Entrepreneurs don't manufacture or produce, all they do is train people and develop them in line of business. Then as entrepreneurs who want to develop people you must be able to have a start up business which people can tap in to develop themselves like to learn. That is why they partner with diff companies. Out of these company the major one that give them waves and give them more incentives is NL INTERNATIONAL. If you come for the interview and you don't have 5k for materials then you are free to walk out in peace and that's the end cos I once did and I wasnt beaten or insulted as you all claim. Also if they introduce business to you and you aint interested you can choose to leave. Please and please don't spoil people's source of income. Because if I had listen to whatever I saw on social media and Nairaland I won't have had the knowledge am having NOW... Any one who spoil someone business will live to see God's warth. Stop making people feel bad when they need opportunities. If you are not interested so be it, if you are interested welcome on board. Elyte Entrepreneurs made me just in 2month to become a script writer cos I now have sense of responsibility and knowledge to take charge which also I partner with their partnering company. Am here to say that am so so proud of all Elyte Entrepreneurs staff and I know God in heaven will continue to nourish their wisdom. I hope this words will help someone out there. Don't let people dictate for you cause social media can make you and at the same time ruin you. One thing I realize is that same people that badmouth you in corner will praise you when you have the results. Take charge of your life. There are no jobs out there in this pandemic time. Take up something and make something out of it. The future is bright for those who grab an opportunity now |

Wanted to create a new account to post this, but I decided not to, so that some of you that are doubting other posters can check a topic I created to verify my claim as well as other well meaning individuals too. Without an iota of doubt, I'll emphatically say that Elyte entrepreneurship consult is a SCAM, it is just so funny how "their" agents are trying frantically to paint their scam enterprise as something genuine, it is really hilarious o. Well, I was invited 1st of June for an interview, I passed the interview, was sent a message to come for induction, I went and another round of motivational speaking continued by madam kewe, then a guy that allegedly graduated with first class from unilag mounted the rostrum to deliver his well practised lies, our first last graduate, according to him was offered a job in Chevron where the take home will be nothing short of about 500k or there about, oga rejected the offer so that he can be shouting in one shabby hall everyday, scamming innocent unemployed youths, lastly our madam DMD entered and also bragged about her first class degree from unilag also, about her tear rubber car , how she flies from one country to another, all these juicy things to sway u into dropping your 5k so that she can take u under her wings, omo I calculate, these people can braaaaaaggggg and them no fit even buy pure water to entertain people that came to look for work, I mean common bag of pure water, them no fit buy, just be shouting up and down about their imaginary millions of naira, when madam DMD dey talk her minions go dey back dey echo"sure" .. mind you, I could have left there and then, but I didn't want to make any wrongful assumptions without getting to the last chapter of their charade, about 15 of us came for the induction, 8 people agreed to pay the 5k instantly, they were given preferential treatment, they went in first for their last stage of the test, maybe because my face was so smart , I was given the last number, I went into auntie kewe's office hoping to do another test o, na so she ask me for money for materials, I shock, I tell her, shebi I told u people I don't have money now I'll pay on Monday when I want to resume, why are u asking me for money again, is this the test I'm to do, she even get mind to ask me say even if na 1k make I drop, like someone said above, they were just desperate, I mean that is the height of desperation na, I tell her say na my tfare dey my hand make I trek go house? .. left her office then oga that rejected Chevron called me to come, I went to him, he asked me to wait outside that he wants to quickly check something , he went inside auntie kewe's office, came back outside and asked me to be going, I ask am, shey u no see me again, he gave me this look of forget it... If them no be scam, u won't get so many people complaining about them... I'm still looking for job Sha, Incase this thread makes front-page, I might get a helper... Entrepreneurs don’t brag, all they do is tell you the story of how they rose from nothing to where they are now and why they chose entrepreneurship. Because if there is no story, there is no glory. Didn’t you learn anything from your training or you sat there for all the hours just to criticize at the end, then I’m sorry to say but you are quite pathetic oh. If you have a mindset of entrepreneurship or growth, all these your statements will not be necessary. Welcome to this space dear. What you are trying to do is social media bullying but you are still a Learner at it. To start with you came for an interview June 1 and today is July 26th. You just started,we will have another conversation by Dec and we will see where you will be by then. The search for a Job just started. Secondly you came for an Entrepreneurship Assessments, where you attended a free 6hours training which you didn't talk about or even highlight all you learnt for free, the instructors now advise that you get books that would enhance your skills, oh you thought they will give you for free. Lol I laugh in Swahili. Thank God you are not with us, because you are a Staunch Naysayer. I feel sorry for any company that hires you, but I feel more sorry for those you are in their lives. You even have the guts to insult all those who motivated you to be a better person. If everytime money is involved, then what ever it is,is a scam, then it means you are suffering from poverty mentality. Now let me shock you, in the last 56days, we have grown, people have gotten business deals, made MONEY and learnt thru our free Corporate Training Programs for our Staff. How is Elyte a SCAM! is it for the 5k you can’t afford or the business opportunity introduced but you don’t have the rightful mentality to build? Thats why its a training consult to train your weak orientation and dead hope of the future. You got an invitation for an interview with the organization and am sure you were told what exactly the organisation is into strictly Entrepreneurship and you said you were interested now you were invited for a training base on the offer and you were trained for hours now you were asked to get some resource materials which will be given to you and will also help and enhance your knowledge while working with the organisation and now you came here and said the organization is a scam how is it a scam i understand not everyone is willing to become an entrepreneur in other to develop and build a business for themselves so if you aren't interested why don't you just walk away the organization in particular have stated what exactly they're into the difference btw a poor man and a successful man is very simple the successful man keeps investing there time and resources to get more information in order to improve on themselves knowing fully well that information is power while on the order hand the poor man keeps saving for what moreover didn't you buy text books while in school and yet you graduated still searching for jobs imagine pls the organisation is legit and well structured |

Since you are born and became an adult till now,have you ever sit down and take stock of your life,at your age should you not be comfortable and make the life of younger generation better by showing them the way to success? That ELYTE you called scam has POSITIVELY helped so many to succeed. So many Nigerians out there are dying from Depression, what have you done to help them. True, the act of being an entrepreneur is not generally accepted by Nigerian youths. Many of them want to work and taste the cooperate environment. They say to themselves, "I want to work with an organization to learn the processes so that one day I will start my own thing", my brothers and sisters it ain't easy as you think. Those of us who have been there and are sincere will tell you this, that we only wasted our time in those organizations. Why was those numbers of years a waste? We worked our ass off to gain experience but not achievements. The recent pandemic just proved to us that the kind of work most of us are doing is not profitable to us. How do we reason as a society? After coming out from higher institution and serving our country Nigeria, we believe that we will get something better to do. Some do get a well paying job(according to them) while many do not. Getting a job on its own is quite difficult in this country of ours. We all know the processes of getting a secular job. For example, in the Banking sector before you are being employed you go for a recruitment process, then after being selected to work with the organization you undergo a training either for 3months or within 3-6months period. After these period you will be slotted to different branches within the country to start implementing what you were trained on. I believe we are all familiar with this method or process, so accepting something different from the usual is quite challenging. ELYTE has chosen to be different in everything they do, which is the more reason I love us. You come in as Business Development Associate working with the company at the same time starting/building up a business. Elyte is an entrepreneurship firm, so those coming in should also have an entrepreneurial mindset. There is no how you want to talk about entrepreneurs without mentioning the fact that these set of individuals are risk takers. One way we discern those who can work and function as an entrepreneur in Elyte is if they are willing to take risk. So for those of you who come here and clamor on the 5k you were told to paid for a resource material, I pity you. If 5k stops you from gaining an opportunity, then you should stop, think and understand that you are broke. And if you want to change that, then do something different from what you were doing that made you broke. Or, it could be that you are not broke, it's just that you are not a risk taker. |

Anybody saying Elyte is a scam is the number 1 scammer because it only takes a scammer to recognise a scammer, your brain is scamming you and if you don't change your poverty mentality you will pass it to your generation yet unborn. I thank God for the life changing opportunity Elyte have offered me, Nigerian youths don't want to hear the bitter truth that is why President Buhari said the youths are lazy, I support him because they are mentally lazy. (These are the set of people that call entrepreneurship a scam). I repeat as I wrote before if you don't follow the trend you will work for my unborn generation, you will continue to be a slave to money. DONCATTY: Honestly I have not seen a sensible post from any of the staff of Elyte. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY FOR THE EMBARRASSMENT FACED WHEN ASKED TO PAY 5K WITHOUT NOTIFICATION! You are getting these levels of complaint on your company and all you can do is abuse, being arrogant and ignoring these valid questions. Nobody is saying you should not charge 5k or 10k or 30k. Most complaints here are about TELLING PEOPLE AT THE OUTSET THAT THEY WILL BE ASKED TO PAY 5K IF SELECTED. Is that not honourable enough? How many people can you all abuse here. How many claims can you all defend. The people are your "customers" and if majority have a problem with your modus operandi, should you sit down to think? Gush!!!! Nobody has typed inhere that entrepreneur is bad. Neither is training bad. Or have they nagged about forcing them. Read between the complaints - something does not add up. TELL YOUR MANAGEMENT THAT IF THEY REALLY CARE ABT THEIR FIRM, COME OUT CLEAN AND LISTEN TO THE COMPLAINT AND ADJUST. 5K IS NOT THE PROBLEM! JUST LET PPL KNOW THAT THEY WILL BE PAYING 5K.
