My take......Laycon will be fine....e don like up and he is trying to disentangle himself....

At least he told her not to worry about him that he ll be fine....that is not the statement of someone that wants to force someone to like him.....I think it's more of disappointment from him considering Erica's actions was a total contrast to her words...

She convinced him that nothing would happen with Kidd and dismissed the guy.....that gave him a little hope....now he sees the stuff had progressed.. getting closure is necessary....

Laycon is responsible for his actions. He met a girl he connected with and developed feelings. Her statements didn't explain rejection to Laycon cos she said she wasnt interested in a ship, they had a convo about his feelings and she said she and kidd were just for physical cruise. She just cleared him up now. No one is at fault here its just one of those things. She should let him be it would be selfish of her to want him at this point he is experiencing something normal. He should also move on while trying to make things less awkward as possible. Things must not always be the way we want them.
