When I read writeups like this, I feel sorry for Nigerians. They don't even know what to expect from the govermment because they have failed so much that their failure is now the norm...So a rape victim or the distressed family should pay for investigation into a crime committed against them? When Omoyele Sowore calls for revolution, the message doesn't go far enough because even the masses have no idea what people they pay tax to, people that have appropriated their resources and mortgaged their lives, should be doing for them.

Advance in technology has made it to be "straight forward". Use of DNA test and other scans and tests can be used to determine if a rape actually took place. Granted there are few cases of consensual sex turned rape, but proper investigations wiil determine and classify them as such.
