Congratulations to the new speaker. Good to see that common sense has finally prevailed at the end of the day in the Edo assembly saga. Indeed, it is victory for democracy and the rule of law. Democracy is a game of numbers and not one of illegality. Majority must always rule while minority should be allowed to have their say. It is crass anomaly for 6 members to be claiming leadership over 18 members in a house of 24. The kind of PDP democracy where 6 is said to be greater than 18 must never be allowed again in this country
