This morning some people went to remove the maze at the house of Assembly.

At the end of the day, someone is making the decisions from his house.

Someone who does not care about the lives of people he is sending to cause trouble.

Meanwhile 17 members of the house went to an hotel and impeached the speaker who is with the Governor.

The battle is on

This matter all started when according to the governor the former governor want to decide who will be the members of the house of Assembly.

The house has 24 members. Knowing that 2/3 of the members are constitutionally allowed to impeach him. He refused.

If he had allowed Oshiomole choose all the members then he is bound to always listen to him failure of which he will be impeached. 2/3 of the house means 16 members.

That was how this battle began.

So the governor at night issued a proclamation which gave life to the house in 2019.

14 lawmakers didn't show up, most likely because they were with Oshiomole. So 10 lawmakers were inaugurated.

And the speaker declared the sits of those 14 members vacant.

And 10 members have been sitting over 1 year now.

So with this jumping from one boat to another. 3 lawmakers left the governor's camp to join APC and that is the issue now.

So the APC has 3 + 14 members making 17 members while PDP has 10 - 3 which is 7 members.

As far as the house is concerned. The APC is getting a upper hand.

The 17 members of the APC now impeached the speaker.

Serious matter. In Nigeria, we don't play politics of ideology.

How can you be jumping ships like this.

Edo State is boiling. We are watching. The 17 APC members have said they are storming the house of assembly tomorrow.

They are storming the assembly because they are more in number. Nigeria politicians. At the end of the day. It is money moving from hand from hand

You forgot to say that APC challenged the declaration of their seats vacant. The case was held in Rivers ( Wike's state ) and the court affirmed that their seats can be declared vacant.

PDP had a mixture of different characters. When the issue of decamping from PDP to APC before 2015 began. It will take a radical and courageous politician to walk out of a sitting president. So courageous and radical people left PDP.

And when the speaker(PDP) was impeached by the 17 members of APC and they said they are going to storm the house of assembly. That was why the governor started a renovation in the house of assembly.
