the constitution says that when an elected officer does not resume office within three months of been elected, the seat would be declared vacant by the speaker of the house and in another 90 days, inec should conduct fresh elections.. . The issue here is that Obaseki started it all when he choose to make a proclamation with few law makers at odd hours there by sidling the rest who were equally elected by the masses. No pity for Obaseki or POI cos both of them are the same; cross-carpeting from PDP to APC shows that they both should not be trusted. 14 memebers are still in court challenging the decision of the court to have declared their seats vacant, as such , the impeachment can be valid if they can still lure like more 5 members from Obaseki camp and precede with a legal impeachment...
