Good afternoon,
Please I am new on this platform. I am 6wks pregnant and a FTM. I have not been able to eat except drinking (Lipton, ginger and sugar) and won’t stop feeling like vomiting. Please is there anything I can do to make me feel better or want food. Also I hope the Lipton and ginger isn’t harmful to my baby.

Too much of anything is bad and everything should be in moderation.

Don't worry this phase will pass. Take your vitamins since you're not eating. Also try bland foods like white rice, fried yam, agege bread, indomie with only very little maggi, ijebu garri, etc.

Always brush when your tummy is still empty so as not to waste any food you managed to eat. Eat in little bits. Then try to identify the times your nausea is strongest and avoid eating at those times. It's usually morning and evening. Chewing gum may also help.

Throughout my first trimester I drank only frozen water. No frozen water, no drinking of water for me. Mummy and baby are currently doing great.

Please drink chilled water if that's what you can drink. The important thing is to stay hydrated.

Mamas, please would you agree to me getting gripe water for my baby of 3weeks. He cries at night cos of stomach pains. He grunts wen he wants to fart or poo. I was advised to get it but I need your opinions. Thanks.

Drink plenty hot pap ooo. Breast must not dry. I experienced this throughout yesterday, I was not lactating. I nearly cried. But my MIL came with this millet pap mixed with dry ginger and cloves (mixture was grinding dried together with millet). By mid night, my breasts started leaking. Maybe you should try it out. You'll prepare the mixture just like you do the first step of turning semovita. All the best dear.

My mum made me buy it but I refused to give when i saw alchohol on the pack, plus My matron says the grunting is normal and will persist till baby is 3months. Check thread for babies for reviews tho.

Hello ToyosiR and my fellow mamas, how are we.doing today? I thank God for His infinite mercy on us all . It's really a blessing to be able to even conceive and get to the various stages we all are today. Abeg mamas, my body is no longer my own especially my thighs. I mind how I bend if not , the pains that accompanies it is out of this world. I feel so stiff because I can't move so much due to muscle pulls. Sleep is deprived oh, heartburn nko? I miss my usual healthy self and I honestly can't wait to give birth.
End of rant!
