Eric has negotiated with Barcelona to join them behind Guardiola. Guardiola would have wanted to keep him for two or three seasons before returning to Barcelona but Eric Garcia was too impatient and turned down Guardiola's extension contract.

I don't get the boy at all. Eric Garcia feels he is Barcelona Royalty and expects to break into Barcelona fast. Working with Guardiola and partnering Laporte for Three years would have made him top notch. From there he could move to Barcelona.

It is his choice. Rumours have it that Pique wants Garcia in Barcelona camp to understudy him. I still hope Guardiola gives the kid some game time before departure. Ending with such a bad note is not good at all.
