Juventus have failed to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time since 2015-16

Juventus have also failed to win the Copa italia since Ronaldo signed with the team despite winning the last four editions before that in 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015

Brief insight into the Real Madrid game:
The game is what I call a peep into the future of football. It was intriguing, tactically sound and with some interesting lessons.

The possessive tactical masters will clearly dominate football and it seems football will be filled with lots of them.

Individual quality is starting to gain importance. We could see the inputs of Sterling and De Bruyne played a big part in swinging the wings.

Ball playing defenders who play like passing defensive midfielders will play a key role to the successful sides. Ball playing goalkeepers are also key.

The High press. Both sides pressed highly but City came tops simply because Ederson's gulf in class with his feet to Courtois and Laporte had an immense game. Laporte's opening for passes was breath taking and his towering aerial presence was vital. Fernandinho also showed brilliant movement and work rate.

Many will criticise Varane for errors but the truth was that Guardiola knew he was limited with his ball playing skills and pressurised him when ever he had the ball. He was bound to make errors. Which brings us back to individual abilities.

Las Las, Toni Kroos and Modric are still monsters when it comes to decision making.

A big Etihad farewell to David Silva. A Legend with the capital letter L.

Throw way Salute to De Bruyne. As TheSuperNerd says, Kevin De Brains.

Guardiola is changing our perception of football. Guardiola is to football what einstein isvto physics or elon musk is to science. It is not about winning trophies but CHANGING THE WAY WE SEE FOOTBALL.
A first class student of medicine is inferior to someone who discovers the cure for aids and corona. Guardiola is an inventor.
Guardiolas ideas are inmkvative. He brought tiki taka to the premier league when everyone said it would not work.
It is not about mone or titles but innovative ground breaking ideas. I rest my case

Eric has negotiated with Barcelona to join them behind Guardiola. Guardiola would have wanted to keep him for two or three seasons before returning to Barcelona but Eric Garcia was too impatient and turned down Guardiola's extension contract.

I hope Guardiola forgives the kid and allow him play some games.

Eric Garcia better get sense ,as much as I want him at Barca ,the best thing for the kid is to stay at city ,dude should be 60 percent pairing Laporte next season

If he comes to Barca he will be behind pique and lenglet

I don't get the boy at all. Eric Garcia feels he is Barcelona Royalty and expects to break into Barcelona fast. Working with Guardiola and partnering Laporte for Three years would have made him top notch. From there he could move to Barcelona.

It is his choice. Rumours have it that Pique wants Garcia in Barcelona camp to understudy him. I still hope Guardiola gives the kid some game time before departure. Ending with such a bad note is not good at all.

The renowned Dr Kolade

Very popular among lots of NPFL
and NNL footballers for helping them recover faster from threatening injuries. And he is the reason loads of them travel to Lagos.

As sweet as it sounds, its further revealing the rot in the medical aspect of football clubs in Nigeria.

A top club cannot boast of a physio!!??

Na bungalow clinic staff dem go employ.
Thus the death of that young man months ago.

Before this league resumes, i think its Mandatory for clubs to just have some unavoidable structure in place. At all cost.

Thanks for bringing unsung heroes to our notice

Dribbling and dribbling without output is no more in vogue. Hazard should go and watch Sterling and Sanchez (arsenal) clips and see how modern wingers now play.

At this point sterling is now a better player than hazard

You won’t believe Raheem sterling now have 20 champions league goal and the highest from an English man is 30 from Wayne Rooney
