If you want to get any Nigerian in any election, tell them you'd build a castle in the sky and all of them would live in it. Tell them every Nigerian would be given 100k yearly for free if they vote you in power. Tell them you'd turn Nigeria into an early paradise in one year. You don win be that. But in your mind, you know how to deal with them.

In Buhari's mind, he would he saying, see these mumu dictating what I'd do to me make I enter first, na to finish my agenda wey I start in 1983 which led to my ouster. Una go see things. Whatever you say you want, I go say yes, yes and yes.

Fear fulani. At the eleventh hour, they would betray you. Awolowo's treatment ought to have taught our southern politicians a lesson. I pity tinubu.

lol. You preached against an established fraud and you ended up proposing another fraud yourself. What is Lower Niger? What do the Edos and Deltans (excluding Anioma) have in common with the SE? The SE itself isn't homogeneous, with the presence of sizable non-igbo minorities. Just call SE and SS separately, please.

Tinubu is an hopelessly corrupt individual. As a southerner, I would forever prefer that the Arewa keep ruling us rather than the Yorubas. The Yoruba people don't regard others in the South, they always claim that they are wise by pitching tents with the Arewa.

No Igbo presidency, no Yoruba presidency, let's all continue to remain in bondage.

No fulani, I repeat, no single fulani can be president in Nigeria without the support of yorubas. Check it from independence and what they always get in return is betrayal. No coups had taken place in Nigeria without yorubas' involvement and playing a key role but severely.Obj plotted buhari coup against shagari, babangida coup was planned by him. He tried it during abacha days but failed and abacha picked him. Somehow, his loyalists killed abacha and got him out to be president. We sef wan commot. On South south country we stand. I hope yorubas would stop supporting the fulanis and say they too are going . I know this would still happen but when, I don't know bit that's when they're tired of being betrayed and that would be the end of nigeria

A Yoruba man says he will oppose another Yoruba's presidency

And it's fine

If it was Igbo, you will keep seeing Igbos hate themselves.

Igbos are their own enemies

I think that the Igbos are scattered everywhere in Nigeria gives every nonentity the guts to demean the tribe

The yoruba tribe are the most disunited in Nigeria. Their muslims can't stand their christians. Alaafin vs Ooni brouhaha.. Ife vs modakeke.
In order to cover these faultlines, they find a way to deflect them on others.

That's why you won't see yoruba muslims like donbachi, guestlander and other knobheads screaming 'yoruba hates yoruba' on this thread like did on the Ifeanyi uba thread mischievously.

That's why I don't hesistate to hit them hard when I get the opportunity herein. grin

Yoruba and chochocho always talking little strategy.Igbo busy making money, money won't allow them focus to take their rightful place,no United front .Hausa/Fulani acting dumb but they have better strategy and a United front.
Constitution change or not it is still humans that would run it.May God not allow them change the Constitution now since we now have selfish leaders who think of themselves first before others. The southwest would be worst off,we need credible leaders, not even my generation might be able to produce that since we aren't immune to all the corruption we are at best waiting for our turn to see if we can resist the temptation of corruption in office which I very much doubt.

No bro, but they have more sense than you people, you people are the ones dragging us back, you self reason am, boko haram that has been disturbing the north, for more than 10years, a Northern president pardoned more than 600 of them, is that one sensible?? In my own opinion, i think the pardoned terrorists were the ones planted during Jonathan's time, to disrupt his govt.... i hope we in SW wont make the same mistake again in voting a northerner to power....

He said a lot of meaningful and pertinent things up there... This nation is cascading fast into anarchy!!!

Tinubu and his ilk ought to be speaking and agitating in that line, not pining to be part of the rot.

Nigerians are their own problem. U feel the north will be a president and support such restructuring that ll disfavour them??

Viable southerner is on course to get the power, my fellow southerner never saw the skill set dexterous part of Tinubu, they only see his drug lord certificate and frog eyes. Presidency as it be, u av to work ur way to such stardom. else, we the learned south go tae for this Jungle o..

SE has really shot themselves in this race.. Clamouring for something big that ll disfavour those in Northern Power. too bad. they are more or less politically ignored realistically.. sorry if ure an easterner... but that is a fact..

Tinubu once said, u don't ask for the death that killed ur ancestor without holding am Axe. the irregularities in Nigeria is not unseen. Observation and logistic are on.. make we calm down find our way into power is what we need, else , we ll keep wailing and protesting till thy kingdom come as usual.

Then, Tinubu ought to have been doing more or better by making effort to bring the East, whole West, Middle belt, and unsettled part of the North on board... Not alienating them by his actions, silence, and inaction... Cos, without a united South, no Southerner is ever going near that office!

Mark my words!!! I speak as a concerned Westerner.

How many times has Yoruba pitched tent with North?
Mention your tribe and i will mentioned how many times your people supported d North

When you are not pitching your tent with yourselves and trying to deceive others to join you, you are pitching with the North. We can say the East has voted yoruba (OBJ) but have you ever voted the East in all your lives?

You think you can continue to reap from the victimization of the East, believing that the East will prefer you again over the North. You are in for a shocker this time.

When our jobless youths in zones that are not even secure hear elder statesmen, speak on very important, issues instead of speaking positive things that will inspire other youths to stand up for their rights. They go political, speak in support of their zones and religious leaders.
For me Federalism and restructuring is a call that all Nigerians should support.
Support wicked and incompetent leadership but one day the tables will turn and you see your zones in serious peril

That is our problem now, and that is where you have to back go to change the situation. The more you deny, you will have this kind of situation and the whole country will collapse."

One God forsaken tribe used the 1966 coup de tat, to destroy our only country, may they never see sleep till the end of days.

Foolish talk.

If you yarribas didn't set the country on fire with operation wetie, the coup wouldn't have happened.

The 1966 coup happened because the police couldn't quench the violence in the western region.
