Re: Maurizio Sarri: Juventus Coach Sacked After Champions League Exit by Dreambeat: 2:37pm On Aug 08, 2020
All the signs were there. Sarri is a coach who needs his own set of players to carry out his style of football. There aren't many of such players around hence he needs to groom them from the scratch and this takes time.Unfortunately, the big clubs and their fans are not that patient for this to happen. For this reason, Sarri is not a coach for the big clubs.

Juve should try and sign pochettino.. or better still try and bring back Conte..

Above all, they need to sign new players, some are either too old(eg bonucci), not good enough (eg danilo) or not just interested (eg higuain)... And they need young players with pace, it is quite sad that a 35years old is the fastest player in their sqaud

Sarri made Juv useless, they cut my ticket like cheap condom.

He make my GOAT cry, imagine! A whole ORORO cry!! When he no b dat dwarfangry

Shhh... The only time Ororo doesn't cry is when he is winning trophies, final games, or being handed player awards!!!

So, forget that 'A Whole' joke...

That said, Sarri was a poor fit from the outset... If you want to replace a legend like Allegri, makes sense to go for proven quality like Conte, Enrique, Pep... Mourinho would have even been a far better gamble!!!

Not unexpected. Juventus not been playing well after the lockdown. Struggled to win most crucial matches. This is not the Juvee we know

The funny thing about this CR7 Messi fight...both men are aging fast. Plus they no longer have the support teamwise they used to.

Well, he is unlikely to be there next season... PSG is surely in his sights.

I sense he won't mind taking a pay cut to head for the next 'big challenge'!!! tongue

Long overdue. Juve under Darrin was a weak team. If not for Ronaldo/Dybala, they wouldnt have won the league.

Watched Juve almost every week this season and I felt they were fortunate to win the Serie A. Not only did they not look convincing going forward, also had their worst defensive record in years. Carried by Dybala/Ronaldo. It isn't sustainable for them to continue with Sarri.

Spoken like a true match viewer.

Their games often times irritated me, focusless passing , slow, predictable, very tired looking with zero creativity about them .

This was inter or Lazio’s season for the taking tbh but luckily they both ran out of steam.

Worst serie title defense I’ve ever seen from juve. Dybala/CR7 saved us we won matches solely based on star quality not tactical brilliance

Let me remind all you Ronaldo ass leakers.I did let you know time without numbers that Madrid didn't win UCL in four attempts with Ronaldo until the signed Bale and Bale helped Ronaldo take Madrid to la decima
The same thing is happening at Juventus. This Juventus side went to 2 UCL finals in 4 yrs without Ronaldo. Now with Ronaldo they can't even get past a quarter final.
Even Portugal needed Eder and the other guy

They need a Messiah
Ronaldo isn't one.

And what has been delaying Messi since 2015 from Winning it ?? And where was he when Cr7 won it....3 consecutive times...which he can never dream of doing ....even if he likes play for Barca 100yrs ...

... its also not sustainable for them to bank on ONE player. they put the whole fate of that team on CR7....they put their whole fate to win the Champions League on CR7's shoulder, while the dude can never bring them the trophy (unless they have the same fantastic team behind him as he had in Madrid)

CR7/Messi etc are great players but without a top team behind them they are USELESS. thus the reason why Argentina hasnt won any worthy trophy with Messi either.
It's refreshing seeing a balanced view like this.

I knew he wasn't going to survive this latest blunder of his.

Next is for CR7 to leave those aged Zebras and go play with a real team.

Juve just doesn't fit his style. It can't work.
