Vidal was our best player at Anfield and Valverde had sense in that match,should have removed Coutinho and played Arthur. Switch Arthur and Vidal so Vidal would cover Alba and that game would've been done and dusted. Klopp saw that Alba was our weak link and pushed the ball through this position. Instead of Valverde to adjust accordingly like he did against Madrid by putting Vidal to help out Semedo who was having a hard time again Vinicus,he just left Alba was was mentally weak for that game. That was what cost us at Anfieldand sadly,I see us repeating the same mistake against Bayern

Having Griezmann in the lineup today was like playing with only 10men, my worry is how only Messi provides the attacking threat, with very rare glimpse from Suarez. Once Bayern can close down Messi, it's game over for Barça!

Finally, going by Setiens lineup today, I wouldn't have my hopes up on seeing dembele against Bayern.

This is a 10/10 performance from Barcelona, some nervy moments though but overall the game had only one result.

I don't know where some Cules are springing up from but trust me, I agree with you wholeheartedly that Rakitic didn't play badly today.


Our gameplay today was fine except of course some lapses which we were quick to cover. The only person that seemingly lost the drive of play is Roberto, ( You can as well add Alba to list). I don't have anything against Suarez today because I already gave up on him a long time ago.

Griezman played more of a free role today and somehow I think he really wasn't that bad, although some silly indecisions cost him.

Messi prowess is just as formidable as ever. No need to overhype am.

Overall, we had a good game

Messi handing that penalty over to Suarez should have been recorded as an assist

His Subs were just terrible and he missed the chance to give them Fati and Puig valuable minutes. If he can't put them in a match we are leading with 2 goals against Napoli, then we shouldn't even expect them on the pitch vs Bayern or any other team if we progress forward.

Actually, which way the game will go depends on Messi. If he snaps and goes beast mode like he's done several times in the past without his teammates doing much to help him, it's game over. Barca shouldn't have come this far in the last three years. They've been completely dependent on him. It wouldn't change in the Bayern game.
That's what all Barca fans are praying for - that Messi snaps. When he does, Bayern would be on the defensive trying to prevent him from penetrating.
