Blue3k: Blasphemy is punishable by death. I did not say so, the Bible says so and since Nigeria's Constitution is fashioned after the Canon Laws, let the Law takes it course. 3 Likes 1 Share

One fool spotted. What concerns Christians with this post? Last I checked it is even Christians that were championing for his release on Twitter and even trended the hashtag. That is like blaming science for the bomb blast in Beirut. Receive sense. somehow: 5 Likes |

somehow: Your words are so true, yet despite the fanatical religious character of Nigerians, they still find absolutely nothing wrong with beating petty thieves, purported witches, imaginary phallus snatchers, and even children, to a stupor before burning them to ashes in the streets. A nation of savages, where rational thought is indeed regarded as an offence. 1 Like

RichBoy247: Antichristians and their ridiculous obsession with Leviticus. Which news have you heard of one beheaded because he/she insulted Jesus? John 18:10 Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest's servant, cutting off his right ear. (The servant's name was Malchus.) 18:11Jesus commanded Peter, "Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me? Luke 9:53 But the people there did not welcome him, because he was heading for Jerusalem. 9:54 When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, "Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them? "9:55 But Jesus turned and rebuked them. The above verses shows Jesus Christ showing us example to live as Christians. Only terrorists will be quick to make reference to Leviticus. 10 Likes 1 Share |

The authority should free the man but I fear for his life in the street of Kano. We have free thinkers in the western world that will tell you I don't believe in your God, ur Jesus or ur Mohammed but they will never use insulting words on them.. This our free thinker is different, calling the Prophet names in Kano of all place. Who does that. U can be anything but keep it to urself 6 Likes 1 Share |

As usual, the hypocritical riffraffs will proliferate this thread and start defending crap. You want to be an atheist or a freethinker, no problem. But when you have to insult and make disparaging comments about other religions and their leaders to defend your baseless beliefs, then there is a problem, a huge one at that. You live in a state, and you know their laws, yet you chose to act like an uncouth thug, then you MUST bear whatever consequences that comes your way! How many people here will tolerate an insult on their father in the guise of free speech without retaliating physically and/or verbally? Or how many of you can supposedly insult their boss without almost instantly finding themselves in the labour market? If you can't tolerate or do the above scenarios then hide your deceptive head in shame! 2 Likes 1 Share |
