Are you saying northerners are the only corrupt Nigerians? Every Nigerian is an embodiment of lack of integrity, be they southern or northern.

I love the way tinubu and co have suddenly developed deaf and dumb to plight of those they pretend to be protesting for in 2015 .

Refineries are not working but workers go there everyday and draw huge salaries/bonuses/allowances every month for zero productivity. A few months from now, NNPC will start hiring again.

If Nigeria was a company, omo it's books should be in heavy loss. Nothing is working here. Honestly Nigerians are supposed to be on the streets as we speak asking all it's leaders to step down immediately. Another option is that Nigeria should be recolonised or divided so that everyone can go their separate ways. We can't keep doing the samething again and again because we will keep getting the same result..

Most times I ignore Nigerians because the ones that are supposed to revolt against their wicked leaders are busy ranting online while others are watching porn BigBrotherNija... grin grin grin tongue
Never. The average Nigerian cannot relate his economic decadence with the policy disasters of the leaders he worships. The average Nigerian is not that bright. If corruption is not keeping a moribund enterprise running to the loss of every single Nigerian, what is. Every single person receiving salaries in NNPC Refineries as we speak is a fraudster. Yes I said it. If you have a conscience resign please. You are being paid for nothing at the expense of other pressing needs and we can certainly use the money instead of incurring more debts.

If we are importing 100%, then it is sheer fraud to keep those refineries as establishments. Fact.

The NNPC manages the refineries and other critical government-owned oil and gas assets.

We were told that the only time the NNPC made profits was in the time of Ibe Kachiukwu. And Buhari had the guts to replace him with a northerner....now, we are back to square one.

Instead of NNPC to find out why her refineries are not working, they are busy building hospitals across Nigeria. NNPC, which is under the ministry of petroleum, is now executing the tasks of ministry of health while its assets incur huge losses.

I don't know who cursed Nigeria, but I think the country has suffered enough. And it's high time the person forgave the shithole.
It was the partriarch Noah that was angered by Ham the founder of Africa and pronounced a curse upon Canaan his son.... this is the curse the way out of this curse is to believe in Jesus Christ.

Where is Makenti Baro? With all the money he looted, this country is in deep mess. All we know is to loot and loot everything. Thinking that's wealth, thank God , he knows how to deal with them. Let's continue to pray for one person that will deliver us this mess.

The southerners are the highest wailers against the corrupt elements both from the south and North. But most Northerners are not proactive and voicing out against their corrupt tribes men for certain reasons..

I'm still waiting to them wail actively.

Sell nnpc to a competent oil firm. The Nigerian government is using it as an avenue to loot. But trust me it can't be privatised

Loss for the country, Gain for the cabal.

The only prayer one needs to pray is for God to run the lives of these people the same way they run the affairs of the country.

And some idiots will come here to say we are moving forward all the while praising some overbloated government contract.

That is money that can make a big difference in Nigeria.
Money that can build some major infrastructure. Money that can add meaningful value to the life of an average citizen. Yet we squander it on refineries we very well know will never work, all because we are a bunch of animals that value human beings less than we should.

Please sell to the cronies we accused Atiku he would sell to... it's way better than incurring losses in this magnitude.

406bn/475 (current dollar rate) = $854.7m

- yet Chinese railway debt with sovereignty at stake - $500m
- Nigerian current Debt to revenue - 90%..
- Poverty capital of the world..
- 4million internally displaced..
- 35m unemployed working population...

When we are ready, we would elect capable individuals.
The zombies can not relate to this they ve got no iQ to realize the essence of government
Why the quality of life they live is directly related to the quality of government they elect, they bring up stupid and useless argument in favour of leaders they support ignoring their own needs, while pandering to ethnic and religious sentiments that have never add any value to their lives.
It is a pathetic situation in the country because there seems to be no end in sight with these set of people in sizeable population in the country

The annoying thing is that those that dragged Atiku back then when he said he would sell the refinery as the first thing in office are those that are angry that the refinery is making losses.

To those of you on this table, next time if you don't understand how things work in this country, please keep quiet when reasonable people are talking and providing solutions to move this country forward.

What if I told you that they actually work.

What if I told you that they are intentionally being under-used so that more money can be put in the annual budget for their maintenance and repairs, and of course stolen.

What if I told you that our refineries can meet our fuel consumption but because it benefits a few persons, our refineries are intentionally sabotaged.

The Misfortune of Nigeria is the Fortune of a few.
