If Dangote built his refinery+plus petrochemicals annex at $1.9 billion, and 404/430 is 0.93 It mean that we used almost 93℅ of the amount he used to build the refinery and petrochemicals to run four moribund refineries that can't even produce 25℅ of their installed capacity in two,i mean just two years. They should be sold off. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

nograv: It’s because of the deep distrust between Igbo and Yoruba. Therefore, Fulani led north took over Nigeria’s resources and distribute them anyhow. If not for the distrust, after the failure of Kaduna refinery, how could Buhari summon courage to start all over again to lay gas pipeline from the south to the north to build gas plants in the north to transport the refined gas to Arab North Africa? It’s a dead-on-arrival project. Let the Igbo and Yoruba bury their mistrust in order to take over repositioning of Nigeria to path of progress. 2 Likes |

If we borrowed #1.3 Trillion from china for Kano-lagos Railway, and we are spending # 404 billion on the refineries (which are producing near to nothing),what it means is that we can return the Chinese loan in less than 7 years instead of spending it to run a Worthless group of Refineries. 1 Like |

Government is not a good manager of business especially the corrupt & fraudulent one like ours. The earlier the refineries are sold to serious investors, the better. |

Oil Refinery making losses. Hahaha. Only in Naija. Yet they will still ship crude to refine off the coast. You see that the head of our leaders are not correct. Nigeria is a hopeless case. Soon they will call the privatization people i. e Dangote et al. and sell them to him at almost no cost like jankara market. Smash and grab tactics. Just like the Italian mafia. 2 Likes |

The sooner we understand that government cannot do business successfully the better for all of us. The bureaucratic nature of government will not allow any business to survive. In short government should stop doing business in Nigeria. 1 Like |
