A twenty-year-old fashion designer, Ayomide Taiwo, attacked by a police officer, Inspector Ago Egharepbe, attached to Ibokun Divisional Headquarters, Osun State, is dead.

Ayomide had been in a coma since Tuesday following the attack by Egharepbe, who was said to have requested a bribe from him.

He passed on around 10 am on Sunday.

An uncle to the deceased, Segun Agboola, broke the news to The PUNCH on Sunday./

He said, “Ayomide never made it. He died after spending about six days in a coma. Since the incident happened on Tuesday, he had been in a coma.

“We are planning to take the corpse to Iragbiji, his hometown for burial. He lost his father long ago. He is survived by mother, aged grandmother and two siblings.”

SMH . It's quite appalling when the individuals who are supposed to ensure safety of citizens are the ones cutting off their lives. Things have fallen apart and the center cannot hold any longer. The truth is a country filled with hateful, guileful, visionless, spineless and bitter people will always suffer. I definitely will be damned if my kids grow up in this mess of a country angry

I believe the government is involved in Police corruption that's y corruption in Police can't stop.

Their ogas will give them a target, do anything u want but if them catch u, u are on your own.
