Good evening engineers.. I got a maxmech generator rwd3800 2.5kva last month. The seller added oil for me as a gift.

Now I want to change the oil, what's the best oil spec for it and best brand?

Also I use 5ltr for 4-5hrs. Is this okay or too much?

What can I do to reduce fuel consumption if it's too much? Thanks.


Ps: I only use 32 inches LG TV, 3 energy saver bulbs, a laptop and phones

Ooh! You should have gone to their website, they show you how to identify original sumec generators, i hope the coil is 100% copper and the only advice i will give is ensure you change your oil as at when due.
how well ANY generator would serve you is determined by how well you take care of it.

Sorry bro, that must be quite an experience. Honestly, there’s no way to enjoy what’s not original, you can only manage it by frequent maintenance and less load.

My generator stopped of a sudden. On getting there, I noticed that all its oil has spilled to the ground. Please, what caused this? There's no sign of oil spillage before.

check very well, it might be the oil seal that removed either from the front or back.Buy a new oil seal(#100-150) and replace it (if that's the case)..pls call an engineer if you can't do it by yourself.
