The Mayor and the Police Chief get a lot of blame on this. It all started yesterday evening in Englewood neighborhood on the South Side when a 20 year old guy engaged police in a shootout and people were saying the guy was 15 year old and unharmed. They sent their viral messages on social media and that's what led to the debacle today in Downtown and Near North Side of Chicago. It's been roundly condemned by all Chicagoans.

It can't possibly have been condemned by all Chicagoans unless those being violent and looting today are imported in. That said, the current uprising is no way to handle things, but frustrated ill-educated people, whom I pressume are the majority looting, can not expected to behave intelligently.

We had similar riots here some years ago, and to ensure such uprisings do not happen again, the underlying social problems were addressed and continue to be addressed. People who are not content will riot, is what I think.

Some outlook here. Pre 1978 Iran ordered some F4 fighter jets which were not delivered after Khomeini took over with his death to the big satan.
There was some negotiation for refund or delivery that got held up over the years.

After the agreement They got access to the financial system (who approved) and got 1.7b in cash.
All in all the money part stank to high heavens.

You nailed it. Every big city in the world have the problem. Most of these young guys are into gangs and they are rabble rousers. They take advantage of the system they live in and as at the last count, over 120 of them are in jail now awaiting prosecution. Don't let the sad news carriers make you believe that the looting is going on all over Chicago. It's just couple of neighborhoods and it's been stopped since early morning.

The current rioting is a result of something, in Chicago, specifically the killing of a 15 or 20 year old by ignorant people who have not bothered to find out the circumstances of the shooting. If they had jobs or something to lose they'd likely not be rioting and looting, nor would they be blaming social injustice for their own stupidity.

To be honest, I think they are like you who believe conspiracy theories instead of checking their facts, and for you to claim they are all liberals is just plain ignorance.

As for Bible burning, do know that there are some Americans who don't regard it like you do and would burn it because they know the smoke would irritate your nose.
