what really made quagiallera more deserving of the award than Ronaldo?,if you agree that Christiano Ronaldo out scored dyabala in almost all the statistics then it means you are plain hypocrite for accepting that dyabala deserve the award ahead be of Ronaldo,as for the analogy of a student not been the best in his class but been the best in the school,that really doesn't match because the two awards are voted for by different group of people.

Ronaldo had 19 regular goals and 12 penalties in serie a in the 2019/20 season.

Messi had 40 regular goals and 10 penalties in la liga in the 2011/12 season.


For all completions;

it's Ronaldo having 14 penalties from 36 Goals
Messi 15 penalties from 73 Goals.

my personal opinion is that juve having dybala on the pitch wins match more easily than without him, when dybala is missing, juve and cr7 seems to suffer...

Nope I disagree, in fact if you noticed, Juves team was built around Dybala, until injury struck. It was very clear Dybala was the explosive device in the Juve team, however CR7 tried his best.

Secondly this Juves team main problem was Higuain, he was the only out and out striker but he was completely out gas. How Sarri, didn't respond to this earlier is what bothered me... this resulted in CR7 and Dybala to do irrelevant experiments in positions. Just imagine if Juve had a player like Lukaku instead of Higuain...

Thirdly the pure wingers and Winbacks, Douglas costa has no replacement Sarri knew this but took gambles, I was shocked to see an attack minded Cuadrado used as a right back, then Bentacur played right of the midfield... that's when I knew Sarri was off.

Fourth Juve has no creative midfielder which is very annoying. Dybala was literally overworked because in most games he assumed that responsibility, and for goodness sakes in such games he was the striker, like I was really hoping Sarri would get a "Pogba like" midfielder.

In fact for CR7 to have scored the goals he scored this season in this current Juve squad, is nothing short of impressive. Because subtract penalties from 31, does that not speak volumes? How many goals did Higuain score?

And then what happened in their last two league matches that he didn't play, remember they lost those matches. That is actually the downside of building a team around an individual. Football is made to be played as a team and not as individual.

Look at clubs like Man City, Atalanta, Liverpool amongst others, these clubs achievement is as a result of collective team effort and not looking up to one man to do the job. That's how it ought to be.
