Most of the comments here have spoken excellently well. All I will add is that you need to let go of betting and I am going to give you a simple way you can do that.
From what you type, you are the type that don't like to disappoint your mum which will make it easy.
Here is a simple way for anyone to quit any form of addiction whether betting, smoking or womanizing.
1. Resolve to never lie to a person you love the most or respect the most.
2. Tell that person to always inquire at the end of each day, if you have engage in any of those things e.g if you are a gambler, let your mum always ask you at the end of each day if you have gambled. Note: this will only work if you keep your words to never lie to her again, with time, you will be embarrassed to stand in front of her and answer that you engage in such vices.

This is one of the many lessons, I learn from the life of the beloved prophet Muhammad ( pbuh): a man came to him and said he is addicted to a lot of vices which Allah has prohibited such as alcohol consumption, womanizing, gambling, lying and he can't stop, he wants the prophet to intercede on his behalf and excuse him from such prohitions. So the prophet told him, okay, but make me one promise in return for what you request.
And what promise is that? the man asked.
The prophet said that promise me that you will stop lying from amongst all the vices.
That is the easiest to give up, the man responded and left happily.
The next day, he planned to visit the bar joints but remember that at the end of the day, he will be meeting the prophet together with the rest of the companions, and if the prophet should ask if he drank today, he is ashamed to respond in the affirmative in the midst of the rest of the companions. The same thought occurred to him when he decided to gamble or visit a prostitute.
That was how a promise to stop lying made him quit all other vices.
May God make it easy for us to improve more on doing the things he is pleased with and quit the things he despises

We try to protect ourselves from shame but when we are exposed, trying not to die is the new priority.

betting is addictive. i hope you have learnt your lesson? never do it again. you would still be tempted but you have to learn to stop at all cost.

tell your mother the truth. get yourself a job and you would be able to pay back gradually. she might help you to pay back the boy but it would be fair if you get a job and pay her back with time. if you can help her out in her business to show your remorse, it would be appreciated if you can not find a job. there is a fine educated young guy that takes dried stalk fish around the market and I'm sure he makes more than his mother who is stationed at her stand. nothing is too rudiculous as long as it is legit and you must not be too proud to trade your mother's goods/products for her.
op, seriously consider this advice. Don't ever go back to betting again. You can never be able to repay your debt that way

Trust me, I have been cashing out consistently with little odd as stated above . And the best part is, the money is growing slowly and steadily .

Any thing betting have to do with applying wisdom!.

Why would I stake 800k?. That is still greed.

One of the betting rules states that, do not stake what you cannot afford to loose. So, you see betting is for everyone not just for the RICH .

you see, i was right about you in the first place........NOVICE grin

experience is the best teacher as they say and that is what you need..............that your 1.3 odd never do you something grin

i wish you good luck bro, keep on cashing out consistently. I am very sure you are aware that it takes only one game (maybe 1.3 odd grin) to lose all your slow and steady winnings

Conclusion: THERE IS NOTHING LIKE "SURE GAME"

I was in the same shoe with you for the past two years, Lost my Life savings from Union korrect worth (#375k) mostly to virtual and Sports betting, Daily contribution of around #80k too, but when I came to a point that it almost lead to suicide... I called my parent and Partner to explain all and that's the beginning of my self healing from this bondage... Calculating all I have lost and asked them to monitor my Life now I can boldly says my Life is coming to a new hope with my actions... Please call your mother and let them know everything, this betting is an addictive inducers if Care is not taking.. #Shalom

In Need Of A Serious And Sincere Advice

Hi Nairanlanders,

I would have loved pour out all I'm going through but posting about personal issues can be really boring to some people and also, some might think this is some sort of competition cos of the rate at which people speak about their ordeals lately. I have done something really terrible which I personally go crazy anytime I think of it to my mom. All I feel right now is depression, anxiety, unhappiness and frustration that I'm afraid I may do something crazy. However, I'm in need of a serious advice and counselling from concerned people. I'm willing to let everything out... I NEED HELP, I'M SO GOING NUTS!!!

MODIFIED: Since many are of the opinion that I type it here, I'm going to do it..

December 2018, a boy in my neighborhood who is also like a relative started making some savings with me, unfortunately that was the time I started betting as well. I used to be very trustworthy when it comes to managing people's money that's why he entrusted his money in my care.

Betting later got the best of me, I used part of the money to bet, that was how this ordeal started. In the quest of refunding the money I used on betting, I kept losing the more. I lost up to 90k before coming up with a lie of how the money was stolen in my forex trading account but I promised to refund the money.

While trying to refund the money I kept losing the little I had with me till I got hold of my mom's bank account, this started around October last year. I kept using my mom's money and the loss kept accumulating. I was able to recover the loss on my mom's bank account before 2019 ended. Now to 2020, the boy kept asking for his money, I had to return to using my mom's money again as I had no other hope of getting the money.. how I wish I had told my mom about the whole thing when it was still amendable. Fast forward to today, I have used virtually all my mom's bank savings from betting to forex trading without her knowledge.

When she noticed about the error in her account, I had to lie I helped her fix her account as she doesn't make withdrawals from her account  cos she's a trader who doesn't use her bank savings for her business.. I'm finished now, I lied to her the duration of the fix is 4 months and she's expecting the money with return by August ending.

Together with the money I owe the other boy, I'm in over 600k debt... I seriously don't know how I got here, I wish I can turn back time, I feel drained... I don't know what to do with my life, I feel like I have failed the woman who has always shown me nothing but love and care. I failed her, I failed the woman who has always trusted me to be a good son.  I even had to lie to her! Each time I think of telling her about everything, I get sick. I can't keep on going this way.. I just want this to end. I'm really SAD

Text me on WhatsApp.

I will set u up with a source of getting raw cash + Forex capital.....

Well, I don't even want to argue about the 'NOVICE'. I know better. So, there is no need for argument.

Just to clear you, I never said ALL small odds (1.1, 1.2, 1.3) are winning games, No.

You can never be 100% sure on winning all your bets, that is why it is called sport!. But am authoritatively telling you that, to a great extent, I have been winning about 97% of my bet.

I bet responsibly, not moved by emotion or the will to win thousands and millions.

@yocreo

I know most would advice or condemn you. But this is my advice.

Remember nothing is 100% certain

All you do is make Predictions, you have no control over the results.

Therefore, always remember to
• bet with what you can afford
• set a daily limit for yourself
• never chase your losses
• Quit when the fun stops
• stick to what works for you

My solution

If you can find @betmula on telegram he has a winning style. Pls he has helped me roll 2000 to 10k. I hope it helps

Good morning everyone, I sincerely appreciate the advices I have gotten here as well as the condemnations, yes I deserved it. I really hope this ordeal of mine will deter others from committing such a grievous mistake.

In the past days I've been preparing myself really hard to speak out the truth and face the consequences, I pray God gives me the strength to let it all out. However, it would be unwise to tell the truth without having any means yet to start repaying my debt, that would deteriorate my mental health.

I hereby wanna humbly ask for a favor from concerned individuals, I'd be glad if anyone can link me up with a physical job or even an online job to start with. By God's grace, I'll be able to pick myself up and overcome this ordeal. Please do not doubt my integrity because of my misdeed. Thanks Y'all.

FOR I BELIEVE, THIS SHALL PASS.

It's pathetic really what you went through, but I feel your emotions. I commend your courage to even let d cat of the bag here.

My advice to you is a bit different.

One, the mistake you made was not being smart enough, or not even smart at all. I too got my fingers burnt severally on betting but I later got it right and smart. I am not encouraging you to go back, but analysing your issue through the window of my personal experience.

IBros, I can confidently tell you that greed and lack of smartness causes loss in betting. In football betting, accumulation of games is a killer. Many odds of 1.5 or 1.2 are so easy to win, just one game. But being driven by d urge to win you accumulate n tickets keep cutting

I don't do football betting because it is a killer, slower, riskier. I stake on basketball and water polo, and basketball is a bang. Easy, less risky and rewarding. I only do live matches, and would never accumulate. Also my daily target set for myself is 3k. Once I won 3k profit,vi close shop no matter d urge.

Anyway, my candid advise is for you to get a job. If you're around Lagos I can help you out. I work as a correspondent at gov office. Just Whatsapp me on 08038634494 let's see if a job could click for u
