Your anger is justified. Talk to him. Find out why he lied and what else he is lying about.

If it's this age issue you are facing in your marriage, then be happy. If you know what other women are facing in their marriages you will appreciate your husband.

C'mon! This is a minor issue, give your husband a hug, smile at him emotionally and ask him to tell you the rest of the lies. I'm sure you have learnt how to forgive before marriage.

Be easy on him for it was a great burden to him to carry this lie for good eight years and always thinking what if she finds out.

Since he is the one that told you the truth please forgive him and forget about it. Maybe he did that so as not to lose you. 10 yrs difference in age doesn't make any difference with 6 yrs age difference.

Was it the lying that is annoying you or his age, ten years older than you?

Well, lying can be painful from anybody, how much more your spouse. However, just express your anger and disappointment about the lying, asking him, why the lie.

Thereafter, if speaks like a man with brain, just scold him and move on. Is he not loving as expected? If he is, just call him an old man humourously and get over it.

It will only go beyond this advise because something is already on the ground unresolved.

Not even to get a job or anything but to get married. Mtchew, that one na pure low self esteem be that. I am ashamed of him as a man. If he knew his worth, he should have told you knowing that whether you leave or not, he has lost nothing he can't gain back in thousands folds.

What about you? If you are using your real age in your marriage, i believe your resumé has got a different date of birth on it. Lying is lying, hubby or employer.

Maybe he lied because he has been lying about his age for documentation purposes or because he was trying to be sure u will accept him.... Just pardon him. Men usually lie when they have esteem issues.

6 years and 10 years are same age bracket. I understand how it hurts but it shouldn't be a big issue in your home as long as he has been doing his duties as a father and a husband. What else can you ask for?
